There is intriguing talk on social media about the answer given by your newly-crowned Bb. Pilipinas Grand International 2018 Eva Psychee Patalinjug as a “copy” of actress Nadine Lustre’s post June 12 of last year during the Philippine Independence Day for Mega Magazine. All I can say is that the Cebuana took inspiration from the message, and instead of giving it her own spin (that could alter the entire thought depending on the words used), she recited choice parts that sounded “memorized” to everyone.
Let’s compare swimsuit notes now. While the assorted tile background can get quite distracting (aside from the sense of bathroom corner I am getting), I simply focused on the Binibinis in gold-colored DR Swim variations. I chose a dozen beauties who are giving me that sense of flirtatious vibe that doesn’t get overboard. There is a thin line between class and otherwise, just as there is a marked difference between being sweet and exuding an aura of sexiness befitting a Binibini. Our opinions may differ on a few of them, but these are the ones floating my boat, so to speak.
Among the four, Ena has the strongest credentials, being a Medical Doctor – something that would benefit most the charity projects of BPCI with her mere presence alone. Muriel has the best PR and communication background, being part of the Presidential Cabin Crew and also the face of the print ads and in-flight safety video of the nation’s flag carrier. Wynonah has the most solid modeling background as a profession, having spent years as a runway gazelle and photographic subject in Cebu. Eva is not falling behind in the looks and popularity department, aside from being the only nationally-titled top winner of another beauty pageant, Mutya ng Pilipinas (Muriel also placed in Miss Philippines Earth, but as a member of the Elemental Court).
I am adding a new factor in my analysis of the forty (40) Binibinis of Bb. Pilipinas 2018. This is the “hands-on-feel” (not “gut-feel”) factor that can only be fulfilled if one actually spends some quality personal time with them, while observing what impact they have on the individuals running the orgnization (BPCI). It really takes a lot of keen observation on my part, and I am not bragging about having that kind of advantage. I just want to give you, dear readers, a running idea about stuff that you will not get purely from photos, videos, social media posts and also personal armchair assessments from the comforts of your desktop at home or work or while lazing on bed checking out updates in your smartphones.
One thing your #Binibini26 discovered when she started her Bb. Pilipinas 2018 journey is the constant physical comparison to Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental 2016 Jennifer Hammond such that practically all her casual photos get the same comments. Actually, even in person, there are small nuances and mannerisms that make the two look like twin sisters separated at birth.
