In this entry are some official photos of the Bb. Pilipinas 2019 Candidates as they participated in the observance of the 12th World Autism Awareness Day at the Smart Araneta Coliseum (which was lit in blue to signify their solidarity with the cause) inside The Araneta Center.
Below are official photos from the #ExperienceAraneta event of Bb. Pilipinas 2019 at the #photowalk of The Araneta Center.
Two (2) were conspicuously absent among the forty – #Binibini4 Malka Shaver and #Binibini5 Sigrid Flores. The remaining thirty-eight (38) were all accounted for.
First official photos of the forty new #Binibinis right after their selection for Bb. Pilipinas 2019
Official numbers to follow.
We have a bumper crop of returnees who filed their application for Bb. Pilipinas 2019.
From the 2018 edition alone, nine (9) are set up to undergo final screening this coming Monday once more:
Vickie Marie Rushton
Samantha Mae Bernardo
Sherry Ann Tormes
Sigrid Grace Flores
Rose Marie Murphy
Kayesha Clauden Chua
Will all nine of them be shoo-ins to become part of the chosen 40 this year?
And I’m not even counting (yet) those who took part two or more years back.
Good luck, ladies! 😘

During last Friday’s pre-judging and finals of Miss Kaogma 2018 at Villa del Rey in CWC and the Freedom Sports Complex in Pili, Camarines Sur, one candidate really wowed all the judges the minute she presented herself. She is only 17 years old, stands 5’8” and has Filipino-Indian ethnicity. Her name is Rheema Alfonso Adakkoden, the newly-crowned successor of Julia Gonowon and is also the recipient of the title of Miss Millenial Camarines Sur.
Truth be told, the strong front-runners – like former Binibinis Sigrid Grace Flores and Angelie Aubrey Asuncion – had to play catch-up with the dusky beauty from start to finish and had to settle with being named Miss Kaogma Tourism and 1st Runner-Up, respectively.
In a year or two from now, you will definitely see Rheema joining the national pageants. And with more training and polish, she will definitely be one of the new Darlings in pageantry in time.
Let me take this opportunity to thank Camsur Governor Migz Villafuerte and Miss Universe Philippines 2017 Rachel Peters for the invite and the super warm accommodation at CWC. Looking forward to the 2019 edition!
