BTS shots of the Bb. Pilipinas 2018 titleholders during their photoshoot with Raymond Saldaña earlier in the day. Watch out for the final images soon!
This batch produced a Miss Universe in Catriona Gray, a Miss Intercontinental in Karen Gallman, and a near-win as 1st Runner-Up in Miss International in Ahtisa Manalo. We can also add a Top 10 Miss Supranational finish for Jehza Huelar and a Top 15 placement in The Miss Globe for Michele Gumabao. It saddens me, though, that Eva Patalinjug was questionably snubbed in Miss Grand International.
At any rate, what an impressive score card for this group of titleholders!
The Araneta Center Giant Christmas Tree Lighting was attended by the Bb. Pilipinas 2018 Queens – Catriona Gray, Jehza Huelar, Eva Patalinjug, Karen J. Gallman and Michele Gumabao – along with Madame Stella Marquez de Araneta and other celebrities.
This is an annual tradition of the shopping district in Cubao, Quezon City and one that many people are looking forward to.

At the Monet Ballroom of Novotel Manila Araneta Center, Miss Universe Philippines 2018 Catriona Gray and Miss Supranational Philippines 2018 Jehza Huelar took the spotlight this afternoon when they were given their proper send-off to Miss Universe 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand and Miss Supranational 2018 in Karpacz/Krynica-Zdrój, Poland.
Both ladies were given the usual messages of encouragement from their Bb. Pilipinas sisters. Present this time are Miss Intercontinental Philippines Karen Gallman, The Miss Globe Philippines Michele Gumabao and 2nd Runner-Up Samantha Mae Bernardo. BPCI Chair Madame Stella Marquez de Araneta was also around to give her personal message to the two Queens.
As expected, Catriona was at her most eloquent during the open mic forum with the media as she answered every single question like a pro. Jehza, on the other hand, was visibly filled with excitement as she has been looking forward to this day for the longest.
Jehza will be leaving for Poland on the last week of this month, while Cat will be flying to Bangkok on the 2nd of December.
From all of us here at normannorman.com, we wish you the best in your respective missions. We know that you will both do well, Cat and Jehza!

Earlier at the Monet Ballroom of Novotel Manila Araneta Center, Bb. Pilipinas International 2018 Ma. Ahtisa Manalo was given her Official Send-Off to Miss International 2018 in Tokyo, Japan.
With both Eva Patalinjug and Michele Gumabao in competition abroad (and Karen Gallman with a prior engagement), Miss Universe Philippines 2018 Catriona Gray and Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2018 Jehza Huelar gave words of encouragement to their youngest sister.
Ahtisa will be leaving for the Land of the Rising Sun soon!

Earlier, Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2018 Michele Gumabao boarded her sponsored Philippine Airlines flight that will bring her to a connecting layover to Tirana, Albania where she will join the other candidates for The Miss Globe 2018 which has a shorter competition period that will culminate in the Finals on October 21 at The Amphitheater in Tirana.
