Miss United Continents Philippines Organization unveils its queen for this year’s edition.
The Miss United Continents Philippines Organization is under new management that is led by owner and National Director, Jeslyn Santos, Miss United Continents 2016. With her is Jean Tumang, Miss Tourism Philippines Model of the Universe 2016 as General Manager and Andy Cayna, International Media Photographer as the organization’s Public Relations Director.
The organization aims to help and support aspiring beauty queens to showcase the true meaning of “Uniquely Beautiful” Filipina.
Looking back, Miss United Continents Philippines has produced its international queen, our National Director, Jeslyn Santos. The team then was headed by the late Mr. John De La Vega. He was the one who first brought the Miss United Continents here in the Philippines.
2016 was the year when the First Asian and First Filipina was crowned in Guayaquil, Ecuador. It happened during De La Vega’s supervision, that early, he already made a mark in the international scene.
With that being said, the organization will work towards the success of this year’s edition.
A woman who is strong, empowered, unique, and confident are the qualities we are looking for.
And the team is happy to announce that we found the right girl, the Uniquely Beautiful Filipina.

You might remember her as Miss World Philippines candidate in the past
She has a degree in Secondary Education and is a Teacher by profession. She is 26 years of age, and she is Joanna Camelle Mercado – our Miss United Continents Philippines 2022.
Camelle is set to compete in the Miss United Continents 2022 Pageant to be held in Portoviejo, Ecuador.
The pageant’s activities will start on July 21, with the coronation night happening on August 6.
We in the Miss United Continents Philippines Organization are determined to prove that Filipinas are worth the crown, an international crown.
The whole organization is with Camelle on her journey to the Miss United Continents crown.

US-based Fil-Am Fashion Designer Kirsten Regalado – known for dressing up Miss Universe candidates the past number of years – is set to unveil her Earth Collection – a collection of award-winning gowns under the theme of earth elements – in NFT collectibles on the 25th of June this year. The Earth Collection unveiling will be held at The Philippine American Cultural Foundation of South Florida, Inc.
The unveiling of the NFTs will be conducted through a digital fashion show in partnership with One Knowledge Consulting, LLC. The NFT gowns can be purchased in Opensea through bidding where winning bidder will also take away the actual gowns after the bidding process is completed.
NFT gown winners will also receive certificate of authenticity and an exclusive membership to the Kirsten Regalado community called “The Thread.” The private community will provide privileges to its members with fashion mentoring, access to digital channels and forums, VIP access to Kirsten Regalado’s events, and more.
The unveiling event launches two new components under Kirsten Regalado’s brand – the fulfilment of the brand in the NFT world and the new brand of the Filipino-American fashion designer. The Kirsten Regalado brand launches anew along its digital channels to properly serve its clientele.
Kirsten Regalado is in the fashion industry for decades and became known for her many awards by winning major titles in prestigious world pageants, particularly Miss Universe. Her fashion line also extends to bridal gowns and couture that showcase her unique designs.
At the onset, I thought that armchair judging the competition would be a walk in the park. How wrong was I. As the weeks progressed, the thirty-three (33) Official Candidates of Mister International Philippines 2022 started leveling up as they evolved from the usual male pageant joiners into prime cuts of contenders who are capable of representing the country in any international competition here or abroad.
When the Preliminaries unfolded earlier this week, I realized that we do indeed have a real battle of some of the finest young Filipino men vying to achieve pageant glory and a wider platform to further their respective causes. It may require more to tempt the most jaded appetites among netizens whose tastes preclude them from giving approval to the template of a titleholder who may not be as tall or brawny as their Caucasian or Latino counterparts. Personally, I have gone past that stage a long time ago. In these all-embracing times, the challenge is to find potential winners who have the looks, physique and communication skills that combine with a relatable personality that can make them more influential and dominant in words and actions.
Here now are the fifteen (15) contestants who – I reckon – have the makings of a national titleholder. Come Grand Coronation Night, it will all be up to them to prove me right or wrong. Let that be a challenge to each one named below, and to those who did not make my own cut.
MJ Ordillano of Paranaque City
Michael Ver Comaling of Leyte
Hisam Hit of Quezon Province
Andre Cue of Cagayan de Oro
John Ernest Tanting of Cebu City
Kitt Cortez of San Juan City
Mico Teng of Davao City
Mark Avendano of Biñan, Laguna
Christian Villarin of Iloilo Province
Godfrey Nikolai Murillo of Macabebe, Pampanga
Kristzan Karlo delos Santos of Imus, Cavite
Rafael Anciano of San Pedro, Laguna
Carl Joseph Abueg of Zambales
Jay Cordovales of Albay
Kent Magno of Sta. Rosa City
In my mind, our representative to the next edition of Mister International is named above, likewise with the First Runner-Up who will suit up for Mister Global. Now let’s see who will actually claim their destinies on Monday night.

My potential Top 5 are MJ Ordillano, Michael Comaling, Hisam Hit, Andre Cue and John Ernest Tanting
Good luck to all the #distinctivelyhandsome men of #MisterInternationalPhilippines2022!
The Finals at Okada Manila will be hosted by Michael Bristol and Kylie Verzosa, along with Q&A segment host Boy Abunda. JM Bales, who is behind the song “Magandang Dilag” for MUPH, will perform his new composition “Makisig” – made especially for the competition.
