If you are one of the judges, dear readers, who will get your highest vote among the five?
“Crème de la crème” means the ‘best of the best’ and “Premier Classement” means ‘first classification’. In the just started Bb. Pilipinas 2019, it would be extremely difficult to make early pronouncements as to who will win the six titles at stake.
So for now, I give to you the twelve (12) #Binibinis who made strong initial impacts on me. I took the liberty of not ranking them according to my preferences just yet. Instead, I am listing the names down according to their respective numbers in the competition:
Binibini 13 Aya Abesamis
Binibini 14 Leren Mae M. Bautista
Binibini 16 Denise Omorog
Binibini 17 Patch Magtanong
Binibini 18 Hannah Arnold
Binibini 19 Ilene de Vera
Binibini 20 Julia Saubier
Binibini 22 April May Short
Binibini 26 Emma Tiglao
Binibini 27 Samantha Mae Bernardo
Binibini 33 Jessarie Dumaguing
Binibini 38 Vickie Marie Rushton
My next post about the subject should be uploaded after a string of personal appearances from the ladies (including the Press Presentation perhaps) where the basis for putting one ahead of the others should be relatively more definitive.

Official numbers to follow.

We have a bumper crop of returnees who filed their application for Bb. Pilipinas 2019.
From the 2018 edition alone, nine (9) are set up to undergo final screening this coming Monday once more:
Vickie Marie Rushton
Andrea Abesamis
Samantha Mae Bernardo
Sherry Ann Tormes
Wynonah Buot
Sigrid Grace Flores
Rose Marie Murphy
Agatha Romero
Kayesha Clauden Chua
Will all nine of them be shoo-ins to become part of the chosen 40 this year?
And I’m not even counting (yet) those who took part two or more years back.
Good luck, ladies! 😘

Bb. Pilipinas 2018 2nd Runner-Up Samantha Mae Bernardo!
She is all set to claim her rightful place in the nationals. A spot higher than the last, hopefully.

We continue now with our #BinibiniWishList2019: Samantha Mae Bernardo
It has been observed in the annual Bb. Pilipinas that the runners-up would almost always return with a vengeance the following year or two. After all, getting so close to a big win is enough motivation to try again.
Last year’s 2nd Runner-Up is no exception. And I won’t be surprised to see Samantha going through the process of becoming a Binibini once more. She has the looks, the moves, the talent and the engaging personality to move up and wear one of the crowns.
Will 2019 be this Palaweña’s more victorious bid in the nationals?

At the Monet Ballroom of Novotel Manila Araneta Center, Miss Universe Philippines 2018 Catriona Gray and Miss Supranational Philippines 2018 Jehza Huelar took the spotlight this afternoon when they were given their proper send-off to Miss Universe 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand and Miss Supranational 2018 in Karpacz/Krynica-Zdrój, Poland.
Both ladies were given the usual messages of encouragement from their Bb. Pilipinas sisters. Present this time are Miss Intercontinental Philippines Karen Gallman, The Miss Globe Philippines Michele Gumabao and 2nd Runner-Up Samantha Mae Bernardo. BPCI Chair Madame Stella Marquez de Araneta was also around to give her personal message to the two Queens.
As expected, Catriona was at her most eloquent during the open mic forum with the media as she answered every single question like a pro. Jehza, on the other hand, was visibly filled with excitement as she has been looking forward to this day for the longest.
Jehza will be leaving for Poland on the last week of this month, while Cat will be flying to Bangkok on the 2nd of December.
From all of us here at normannorman.com, we wish you the best in your respective missions. We know that you will both do well, Cat and Jehza!
Here are more photos taken by Joy Arguil from the said event.
You haven’t heard or read about new charity activities of the Bb. Pilipinas 2018 Queens, so here are seven of them – minus Karen Gallman during their visit yesterday afternoon to the young cancer patients of the Philippine Children’s Medical Center akong with Taco Bell Philippines and Dairy Queen Philippines.
