Here’s wishing everyone the best this Christmas and the coming New Year. 2022 may not have been the best in terms of pageantry wins but some of our Queens still racked up respectable placements all around (or in international competitions outside the Big 4).
May January prove to be the start of a more wonderful period in crown-hunting for the Philippines.

Truly the secret to our Queens’ beauty is an even more beautiful heart. Last July 6, 2022, the 2022 Miss Universe Philippines Celeste Cortesi and Miss Universe Philippines Charity Pauline Amelinckx visited Save the Children Philippines’ nutrition program in Samar. They met with children and families who are actively participating in the program.
Miss Universe Philippines Inc. and Save the Children Philippines are continuously working together to end hunger, particularly among children most impacted by inequality and discrimination. Watch the video and find out how we can cure hunger together through #QRforHunger. To donate, please scan the QR code in the video or or visit bit.ly/QRforHunger
Your donation will be pooled to provide safe water and nutrition through the project “Saving Filipino children from Disasters and Impacts of COVID 19.” lThe target amount to be raised is Php 2 million.

Hope4Change is a non-profit humanitarian organization dedicated to eradicating the effects of hunger illiteracy, and disease ravishing impoverished communities throughout East Africa, the Philippines, and Indo-Asia.
The Miss Universe Philippines and Hope4Change are trying to help children in different parts of the Philippines to receive quality education that they need, particularly those heavily impacted by poverty.

Mabuhay and Welcome to the Philippines, Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu!
Harnaaz arrived in Manila via the private plane of Gov Chavit Singson. Arch. Richelle Singson-Michael was also with them. She will be a special guest of Miss Universe Philippines 2022 for the Preliminaries and Finals.
A Miss Universe Philippines titleholder is a queen with a distinctive story to tell. We met an inspiring queen through Rabiya, an unbothered one through Beatrice.
In its third year, the diverse stories of the delegates continue to inspire us. We have 50 Filipinas after the most-prestigious crown in the country, each with her own definition of what makes a phenomenal woman.
Like how no two stars in the known universe are the same, our Miss Universe Philippines queens are Uniquely Beautiful.
Supporting this year’s theme are its three main pillars:
✨ Uniquely Beautiful Transformations
Our goal is to guide our delegates in finding their unique best selves with the help of the world-renowned experience of the key members of the MUPH board. As a result, our delegates should also move others to seek their best selves.
✨ Uniquely Beautiful Roots
Through the Accredited Partnership Program, we ensure that cities and provinces throughout the country are well-represented. Let’s show the Universe the unique and moving parts of our culture revealed through the eyes of our contestants.
✨ Uniquely Beautiful Causes
Aside from making sure the country is well-represented in MUPH 2022, promoting Philippine tourism, our existing charity partnerships, and the delegates’ own advocacies, we’ve also partnered with brands with uniquely beautiful causes this year.

On tonight’s Exclusive Daily Round-Off for Miss Universe Philippines, your blogger will join host Ayn Bernos and co-host Brian Gocheco in talking about things phenomenal, i.e. the upcoming announcement of Official Candidates for the 2022 edition on Monday, February 28, who to keep an eye on and other topics that make the pageant worth anticipating for.
Now this update is no longer a secret after her beauty camp – Aces & Queens – posted the caption below:

Lou Dominique Piczon joined the inaugural edition of Miss Universe Philippines in 2020 and represented Mandaue City. She made it to the Top 16 and was named Best in National Costume and Best in Runway. Will Lou run away with the crown this year?
Sporting a new hairdo and brand-new pageant disposition, will former Miss World Philippines Michelle Dee follow the trail of Catriona Gray and cross over to Miss Universe Philippines to hopefully capture that second crown? Rumor has it that she just might. And it won’t be met with a lot of surprised reactions, I reckon.
Will she also be the flag-bearer of newly-formed camp – The Crown Initiative?
Hi! Norman here. When I'm not working, I spend most of my free time planning on daily blogs. If you will notice, I always make sure that a fresh topic comes out everyday - not an easy thing to do but it's all good. Thanks for dropping by and enjoy the visit!
