  1. A lot of thumbsdown and insults against me and yet nobody tried to prove me wrong?!🤣
Just shows no matter the cognitive dissonance and condescending comments… Majority of pageant followers here are just plain IGNORANT!!!! 🤣🤣🤣

      • @ThisIsMe

Dami mo excuse… wala ka lang talagang alam… 🤣🤣🤣

    • Talaga ba? Hahaha
Edi Ikaw na may alam ng lahat. Ang talino mo grabe. Happy? Hahaha
Siguro kahit pamilya mo umay na umay na sayo; self righteous know it all ugly aging lonely faggot haha

      • @ThisIsMe

Really now… Are you talking about yourself?! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  2. I can understand how some devotees of the Santo Nino got offended by the use of the religious icon in a National Costume. Icons are not just art with a religious theme but are considered sacred art because they bring the viewer to the sacred. For it to be presented in a beauty contest is deemed sacrilegious. I noted in the past, several depictions of the Virgin Mary have been done in beauty contests, but no noticeable objections have been recorded. Is it now because the wearer is a female? As a jaded observer, how do we now view the Santacruzans held yearly bationwide where Biblical characters get depicted in costumes, or presented in tableaus, and paraded all over the town? And on Good Fridays, the devotees are not just content on parading the image of the Crucified Christ, real crucifixions are enacted. Where to draw the line between culture and sacrilege?

LOL, puhlease!!! Read some legit history books 1st before you post condescending comments…
You are just reeking and wreaking ignorance! 🤣🤣🤣

  3. There is no excitement in Binibini … but well for what it’s worth, Lakrini for me

  4. I hate dumb girls who join pageanta… but I do find it really amusing that these girls never learn….
If you use a religious icon as a national costume, it’s a death wish… The highest achievement a girl who did this was Gazini Ganados and we all know how that turned out…

Bago sali ng pageant, aral-aral muna ng history… the storylines of the religious iconography they venerate are mere cover-ups of the catholic church for the truth which is arson, rape and massacre of our people… Infairness, to the real story of the Santo Niño de Cebu… at least Humabon was able to poison and murder some of the evil Europeans who survived the battle of Mactan during the aftermass feast… particularly those who burned down their village days prior… leaving the Santo Niño claiming that it was saved by the Virgin Mary… Too bad there were cowards who did not go down from their galleon hence these few were able to go back to Spain and return with reinforcements…

Anyway, at least it is the end of the pageant dreams of these pretty faces with no brain..
    HAHAHHAAAAAA

    • Rants the person who supports the most corrupt political dynasty in our … wait for it … history.

Before you drag others for their historical amnesia, it might be wise to follow your own advise.

Allow me to paraphrase your own words –> Bago mag salita, aral-aral muna ng history.

      HAHAHAAAAAAA

      • @SQ, how do we deal with an adherent of alternative history and historical revisionism? It’s an exercise in futility to argue with someone who lives in a delusional parallel universe. In this free market of ideas, simply ignore. Better still, thumbs down!

      • @SQ

LOL… You don’t even know what you are talking about….
        You will always be a lemming… 😊

      • @Scorg

        Really Scorg, Historical Revisionism?!🤣
So you prefer history written by our colonizers who created this huge mess in the 1st place?…
And FYI, what happened in Cebu was written by Pigafeta himself… Maybe you should read that in person 1st before you comment here because you are obviously not even aware of it… Basa ka muna bago comment dito claimming I’m living in a parallel universe e ikaw tong mismong walang alam… 🤣🤣🤣

      • @PageantFANatic

LOL kung maka agree kala mo dami mong alam e parehas lang kayong mga bobo!🤣🤣🤣

Get some quality education you stupid bitch!🤣🤣🤣

      • Masyado naman po kayong high blood. Alam ko namang sisteret ka ni Josefa Llanes Escoda. Priority po kayo.😅😝

  5. These girls spent so much money on these costumes and the BPI couldn’t even put up a decent show to showcase them ? It’s a shame
The singer , btw, was very good

  6. Binibining Pilipinas need to know when to hang it up with dignity …. and that is now .

    • Hahahahaha. Dun mo sabihin yan sa MUP na kadiri since 2020. Ka-cheapan.

  7. Beautiful costumes.

I really hope that National Pageants reuse the winners of the National Costumes to future international competitions as it promotes sustainability. Or collects them and puts them in a nice Museum of National Costumes or something 😉

  8. OMG.

Almost all the costumes are intricate and wala namang parang school project feels.

    HOWEVER.

    > Where does national costume end and where does sacrilege begin? Some are really bordering on bad taste and offensiveness.

    > Can’t see anything “uniquely Philippines” in some costumes. Please explain.

    > For sheer simplicity and yet beautifully executed and photograph. I am betting on Bb26. This is what a national costume is. Make her win.

    > Enough of the Virgin Mary, Sto. Nino references please. The look is tired. Been there, been that. Lol.

Other noteworthy costumes are : Bb 16, Bb 1, Bb 14.

    World Peace.

    • National Costumes are what they are- representative of people;s cultures so don’t expect new ones all the time. I still appreciate the religious imitation ones since at the end of the day, the Philippines will remain an predominantly Catholic nation.
