  1. Ok..Let me submit my opinion…I am Venezuelan ( and I am 50 years old….;-) ) I was born, growth and educated in Venezuela and, I can say that this is not new…When I was a kid, in my school and the neighbor where I used to live they found a reason to crown and have a queen,, ( Reina del Dia del Arbol, Reina de la semana de la escuela, Reina del Carnaval, etc..etc ) Queen of the Carnival, Queen of the Nature Day, School Week Queen, etc, etc..and I remember because my sisters used to compete…They used to chose a delegate ( every grade will pick their) and that delegate used to compete in the school with the rest of the girls or ( In the case of Queen of Carnival) every street / neighborhood will pick their delegate and will compete with the others and, Whoever the winner is..She will reign for a year ( and she will be respected ) .. of course ..Not like this…it used to be more conservative for the little girls by that time…but time had changed and Venezuelan are getting more and more obsessed with the beauty….It’s like the Baseballs players and Boxing ( they start training since they are kids)…it’s part of our culture…But I agree what people say here “ It is over the top”..Turned a little girl into a woman with fake eyelashes, wig extensions, heavy make up, is too much, here where I live ( New York City ) they were criticized in the news because it looks kind of disturb…Can you imagine all those predators watching this video in You Tube???..
I think that is OK to create these kind of pageants for girls to help them to be secure and confident and even competitive when they grow up but , I don’t agree that they have to make them look like a street walker…( you know what I mean) ..They should look more innocence and “more girls than women”…

  2. Thanks to Gisselle Reyes, profesora de pasarela de Miss Venezuela. She trained these girls in her Universidad de Belleza de Gisselle. Girls ages 5 and up can enroll at her school to become future models. follow her on IG @gissellereyes.
Remember Minorka Mercado, Miss Venezuela 1993 and Miss Universe 1994 2nd runner-up?, she was trained by Gisselle in 1994 and look at the result. muntik na manalo.

  3. i LOVE LITTLE mISSpHILIPPINES, ANF i’M A FAN OF rYZZA.

PERO SUSMARYOSEP NAMAN, ANO BA ITONG GINAGAWA SA VENEZUELA AT SAPILITANG GINAGAWANG DALAGA ANG MGA BATA AT ME SWIMSUIT PA NA ANIMO’Y MGA PROFESSIONAL MODELS NA TALAGA YONG MGA BATA SA GALING MAGPOSE AT CATWALK, BAGAMA’T NAKAKMANGHA AY DI NAKAKATUWA DAHIL MGA INOSENTENG MGA BATA YAN PARA DANASIN ANG GANYANG PRESSURE, TALAGA BANG PANGARAP NG MGA BATANG YAN ANG MAGING BESAUTY QUEEN O PANGARAP NG MGA NANAY NILA? SIGURO ANG MGA NANAY NA ITO E MGA FRUSTRATED BEAUTY QUUEEN NA HINDI NATUPAD PANGARAP NILA AT SA ANAK NILA IPINAPASA ITO?

  4. A bit over the top at times. That said, a couple of the girls are absolutely pageant ready and, hopefully, gracefully grow into a beauty queen. At times they made me chuckle, others made me roll my eyes with an OMG moment, and a couple made my jaw drop with their stage presence and blossoming beauty. This pageant definitely walks a fine line. I guess it’s just a matter of one’s point of view.

  5. I am a little bit surprise that kid’s are being robbed of their innocence. They should be enjoying the kid in them rather than going for this type of competition. Beauty pageant for kids is fine as long as you categorized it on a level appropriate for their age, wearing a swimsuit is just at the top and an open invitation for exploitation

  6. Kailangan pa bang may swimsuit sa childrens’ beauty pageant? Di ba parang nag-iimbita pa sila ng mga pido? I know in the U.S. they don’t allow this, pero siempre, Venezuela is Venezuela.

    • next year, two piece swim suit na rin, tapos ang winner e magiging model ng underwear for children…

    • Dito nga kasama pinapakita sa pageant nung bata yung nanay…
      Kanya-kanya lang yan… 🙂
