Some people are saying that your #Binibini38 Vickie Rushton is the silent killer among the Bb Pilipinas 2019 candidates. Not that she is the type who would come from behind and steal the thunder from right under the noses of the perceived winners at this point. She is already one of the front runners. It’s just that compared to the other heavyweights, she is not like a lightning that strikes so frequently as to make people long for her new “surprises” every week.
Watch out for Vickie!

Last night at the CCP Complex in Pasay City, Nicole Borromeo – representing the Sinulog Festival of Cebu – was crowned Reyna ng Aliwan 2019 in the annual competition and automatically became the Festival Queen of All Festivals. She also gifted her province its 9th win, strengthening Cebu’s excellent record in the search. She effectively followed the trail set by the likes of previous titleholders Jamie Herrell, Karla Henry, Cynthia Thomalla, Rogelie Catacutan, Angeli Dione Gomez, Marla Alforque, Steffi Pearson Aberasturi, Sian Maynard and the late Rizzini Alexis Gomez.
It’s only now that I am posting her video during the Q&A in the Pageant Night that I chaired for Aliwan Fiesta 2019. In it, she explained why Cebuanas have continuously dominated the search since its inception.
Below is the complete set of winners:

Below are some photos of the ladies during the visit.
You look at the face of #Binibini38 Vickie Marie Rushton close-up – or even closer than close-up – and you simply cannot fathom how unbelievably beautiful this #Binibini is.

Some people do not see #Binibini20 Julia Saubier fitting the usual template of beauty that pageant fans and followers are clamorously beseeching for. But that is the exact reason why she is effortlessly standing out in a strong field of 40 #Binibinis. She is tall, pleasingly well-spoken, charmingly appealing in person and with a vibe that is distinctly cosmopolitan.
Look no further.
In a (Miss) Universe reimagined, she is out to prove that the standards of beauty have evolved.

Meet your Mrs. Eco Philippines 2019 Shiela Teodoro-DeForest who will represent the country in the upcoming Mrs. Eco International 2019 competition that will be hosted in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA from June 23-28, 2019.
A Meet-and-Greet Press Conference with members of the media was held at the Apartment 1-B Restaurant of The Henry Hotel in Pasay City where Shiela – along with her loving parents – shared more than pageant memories, but also heartwarming stories about her growing up years in the Province of Laguna.
You will remember this towering Pinay beauty (she stands 5’10”) who also participated during last year’s Mrs Globe held in China where she wore the sash of Southeast Asia and made Top 15. This time around, she is filled with more excitement because it will be the entire nation of the Philippines she will represent internationally.
Just yesterday, she went to Benguet Province up north to piece together her environmental advocacy that centers on organic seeds and solid waste management. This will make her video presentation for the competition more meaningful and practical.
As a brief backgrounder, Shiela
finished BS Tourism at the University of the Philippines Diliman before working for the British Embassy Manila as a Press/PR Officer. Afterwards, she got accepted as an International Flight Attendant for Emirates Airlines before eventually meeting her future husband Timothy DeForest, a Pilot for JetBlue. They have been married for several years now, and have happily settled in Golden, Colorado, U.S.A.
From all of us at normannorman.com, we wish you the best of luck in winning the Mrs. Eco International 2019 crown this coming June!

John Jeffrey Janjep Carlos is the man of the hour who will travel to Cape Town, South Africa to represent the Philippines in Mr Gay World 2019 from April 28-May 4. He was given a fitting sendoff by his National Director, Wilbert Tolentino.
Janjep is a successful businessman and realtor who also happens to be a great dancer. A former volleyball athlete and varsity player of the Cavite State University, he loves spending most of his free time at the gym and workout with his friends.
Joining the national search is something that Janjep decided on a snap. In fact, he joined twice before finally bagging the title of Mr. Fahrenheit 2019 which automatically made him Mr. Gay World Philippines 2019. “That’s how motivated I am to get this title.” he added.
This hunky 41 year old Caviteño will have “Mental Health Awareness” as his main advocacy for the international competition. He even came up with his own hashtag for his campaign – #IllnessToWellness.
“I think it’s very timely and relevant. We’ve heard so much about mental health issues and it’s getting worse. In my own little way, I want to spread awareness about depression so people will know what to do in case they feel some of the symptoms of this psychiatric illness is affecting us and our loved ones.”
His final message to the Filipinos?
“My vision is not just to live but to exist. I promise that I will give my best so that I can represent my country well and they can be proud of me. Thank you guys for following my journey. I’ll be needing your much love and support in the upcoming Mr Gay World 2019.”
Let us all support Janjep by liking and sharing his video:
