Global Asian Model: The International Edition

Presenting some of the Official Candidates (all with Asian heritage) for the international edition of #GlobalAsianModel who will vie for the inaugural wins next month. This is a brainchild of Jonas Gaffud and Empireph.

Welcome Party and Press Presentation will take place at the Cove Beach Club Manila on November 16, with the finals set for November 21 at Cove Manila at Okada Manila.

The Philippines will be represented by Vince Lenard Marcelo and Ella Eiveren Lubag.

Atlanta-bound Gazini Ganados


With the Atlanta Marriott Marquis as host hotel and official residence of Miss Universe 2019 from November 28-December 9 (date of departures), take a quick look at the property and guess which parts of it will host the Welcome Ceremony, National Costume Presentation and – perhaps – the Preliminaries?

For eleven (11) nights, this will be the home of the delegates. I agree that this year’s hosting is an obvious downgrade from Miss Universe 2018 in Bangkok. Aside from the shorter competition period, the activities will pale in comparison. But let’s see how things will unreel in Atlanta.

Postponed indefinitely: Reina Hispanoamericana 2019

Owing to the current political unrest in Bolivia, Reina Hispanoamericana 2019 has been postponed indefinitely to avoid any safety/security issues for the candidates – a good move actually from the organizers.

In this regard, our Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas 2019 Katrina Llegado will be staying in Toronto, Canada for the meantime or until an greenlight advise has been given by the RH officials.

More updates on the pageant as they come.
