These ladies, in undoubtedly the most eventful year in Philippine Pageant history, have been through many ups and downs. Now, we should be very proud of them as they all definitely possess the marks of what a phenomenal woman should be less than a month before the main competition.
This is excitement to the max!
This is Miss Universe Philippines.

While Congressman Eric Yap announced on his FB social media page about something big coming to Benguet, I cannot make any final confirmation yet on whether it will host the finals of Miss Universe Philippines 2020 on October 25 or the important Preliminaries on October 21 or both.
Pending any official announcement from the MUPH organizers, we will rely on these photos for now.
After her spotlight moment on Episode 1 of the #ringlightseries of Miss Universe Philippines 2020, here is Sandra Lemonon of Taguig in her latest uploaded photo as captured by Dookie Ducay.
“This is perhaps the greatest risk any of us will ever take – to be seen as we really are” -Cinderella.
In the start of this year I said
“I am ready to show the universe, that what ever hurdles life throws at me I will use them as a lesson and turn them into my superpower”
Life for sure took me up for that challenge 😅 but it gave me one of the best gifts it can ever ask for.
My inner voice❤️
My journey to self love has been a bumpy road with many pitfalls.
To hating myself, thinking I was Dirty, unworthy, a mistake & broken.
To understanding that I needed to go thru all of those feelings & situations to know how it feels like… & how to climb out of that dark hole. For one day I will be ready to accept myself for who I am & everything that made me, “the good” & “the bad.”
I had to learn how to deprogram old perceptions of how I should think, behave and feel to be accepted by society …
I am still making my way to my destination & some days are harder than others but it is for sure one of the most fulfilling feelings I have ever felt ❤️
I’ve learn to TRUST myself.
To FORGIVE myself, to give GRACE in moments where I felt I could’ve done or do better.
To EMBRACE dark moments & know that it DOESNT define me, what defines me is how I CHOOSE to react to it 🥺❤️ & most importantly is that I get to be my MOST AUTHENTIC SELF 🥰
With all of these lessons I believe I have found my purpose…
That being my true self (no filter, flaws & all) I can show others how to learn to love themselves too 🥺
Thank you to the amazing team behind this picture who shared with me their time, talent & expertise in helping me be one step closer to reaching one of my biggest dreams, I love you all so much.
I feel and look beautiful.

I have just finished watching Episode 1 of the Miss Universe Philippines 2020 #RingLightSeries late last night.
This is not a mere pageant or show or spectator event for people to be entertained. This is a process of molding #phenomenalwomen into future leaders, movers, shakers and tentpole strategists. Now I can clearly understand the rationale behind the catchphrases:
If this is the feeling I get from the first episode, then I am so looking forward to the next ones!
This is #MissUniversePhilippines.

Sharing with you the video of the 3rd episode of Pageantry Norms Season 2 with the spotlight given to Mr & Ms Chinatown Philippines.
If you missed the last 15 minutes of Pageantry Norms Season 2 Episode 3 earlier, I already revealed my Pre-Ring Light Series Selection of 20 for Miss Universe Philippines 2020. I used the word “selection” instead of “favorites” or “hot picks” because I went through the motions of selecting the best per region and added the next eight ladies to complete the list of 20. I made no rankings whatsoever because – at this juncture of the competition – the Ring Light Series will definitely present each one of them from an entirely different perspective. You will see them outside the filtered social media presence or online guestings.
The formula I used was very simple. I selected my Top 3 from Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao and NCR first. Afterwards, I added the next best ladies who I anticipate to do well during the 8-episode Ring Light Series. My basis for the entire thing was how they managed to sustain visibility during the entire lockdown/pandemic period, how they performed during talk show guestings or the KUMUstahan shows and how I personally see their chances of continuing what they already started ever since the Press Presentation last February (gut-feel, if you will).
In the list above, there are only three (3) ladies from Mindanao so obviously they already occupy the top spots in that region. As far as Luzon is concerned, I was in a dilemma because the candidates from Southern Luzon/Bicol Region are significantly stronger than their counterparts in Northern/Central Luzon. In the end, I had to use my better judgment in siding with the ones who are indeed stronger. Visayas and NCR are undeniably on top because they have made their marks in the eyes of pageant fans, followers and enthusiasts alike. And this is the reason why they have at least 5-6 entries each.
What do you think, dear readers?
