No need for a long introduction for this blog post. Here is Nicole Cordoves during her media sit-down interview with Catriona Gray at the Manila Hotel.

Princess is a 5’8″ beauty who will soon finish her Tourism studies at World Citi Colleges. She is an active youth leader in her community where she used her provincial platform to reach out to the out-of-school youth in Aurora.
Princess is hoped to bring pride to the entire province she represents, if and when she hurdles the tough journey into becoming a national Binibini.
Good luck! 🙂
Pageantry is nothing new to this sweet lady from San Pedro, Laguna. In fact, she joined Miss Philippines Earth 2016 and became one of the runners-up. And prior to that, she joined the very first edition of Miss Global Philippines where she became a Tourism Ambassador which led to her appointment as Miss Summer International Philippines and 3rd Runner-Up at the bigger competition held in Barranquilla, Colombia.
Nothing can make her more happy, though, than to become an Official Candidate of Bb. Pilipinas. Fingers-crossed, she hopes to achieve that in the 54th Edition. 🙂
Here is more about Kristine, in her own words:
“My friends call me Tin. I’m 24 years old from Borongan City, Eastern Samar. I am the youngest in our family but I act and take responsibilities like I’m the eldest. I fell in love with music growing up and have been a part of a Rondalla – – playing the banduria – when I was in grade school. I’ve also part of a high school orchestra when I was still in 6th grade and continued to play till I graduated high school where I played the Viola. I have been teased back then because of my height, my classmates would call me ‘langkawag‘ or ‘kapre‘. When I moved to Manila, I realized I could use the height to my advantage and started modeling after college. I have been lucky enough to walk for some of the great Filipino fashion designers like Albert Andrada, Francis Libiran, Ezra Santos, Lesley Mobo, Amir Sali to name a few. I’ve worked as a full time model for two years after graduating from college. As I seek for a better career in the hospitality industry, I then worked for a Forbes 5-star Hotel and Casino here in Manila as part of the Call Center and Reservations and did modeling as part time. As I seek for more experience as a hotelier, I transferred to another hotel in Ortigas as a Sales Coordinator.
I have always been independent growing up. I knew I wanted to travel, see the beauty of the Philippines and learn other cultures and languages outside our country. I have learned to appreciate life and the people dear to me as I traveled to other countries alone and got into a lot of adventures I never thought I’ll ever experience. Traveling has helped me discover more about myself and has taught me to love life, stay positive and be resourceful in any situation I get into. I became a risk-taker ready for any trials and challenges thrown at me. Life is a beautiful thing to experience, and I dedicate my time and heart to anything that life will offer me, be it good or bad.
Pauline is a Professional Runway Model – a career she entered into after graduating from Lyceum of the Philippines University-Cavite with a Bachelor of science in Secondary Education major in English. A hearty eater and voracious reader, she is proud to have walked for famous designers like Albert Andrada, Rhett Eala, Mark Bumgarner and Arnold Galang.
Good luck in the screenings of Bb. Pilipinas 2017, Pauline!
Fast forward to 2017, and Vanessa returns to the field – more mature and stunningly beautiful at 21. As part of Aces & Queens Class of 2017, she was singled out by many during the Presentation Show as possessing one of the loveliest faces in the group. It amuses me to recall that a group of straight guys who watched the mock pageant unanimously picked her as one of their top choices. And I couldn’t agree more because she is indeed a refreshing presence especially when I approached her for some small talk then.
Vanessa will join the beeline for BPCI before Friday, along with her camp sisters. And I am positive that she will have a second serving of Bb. Pilipinas on her plate very soon! 🙂
