The Binibinis during their 'Salute' of an opening number
After watching the opening number of Bb. Pilipinas 2015 last night, I searched online on the music used.
Found it. The all-girl quartet ‘Little Mix’ is responsible for the song “Salute” (watch the original music video below) which was remixed to suit the choreography of the ladies with a most apt theme for all thirty-four (34) Binibinis who dedicated the past two months of their lives to this year’s nationals.
I personally salute each and everyone of you for sharing a big part of yourselves and proving to all that, indeed, the Filipina beauty is and will always be a force to reckon with.

Binibini 3 Ria Rabajante (left) and Binibini 4 Renee Soraya Hassani: Will they bring honor to RL’s Angels on March 15?
‘RL’s Angels’ has been fielding beauties in the annual Bb. Pilipinas competition for more than a few years now. And so far, the luck of a magic placement has been eluding the junior camp.
With the launching of their brand-new logo (see above) courtesy of Bb. Pilipinas 2014 Official Candidate Angelique de Leon, will the tide change and favor one or both of their entries this year?
Binibinis 3 Ria Rabajante and 4 Renee Soraya Hassani are giving the other contenders a good fight. And it’s not just because these ladies want to do RL and his team of handlers, gym trainers and stylists proud. They also want to prove that they can register good performances even without the help of highly-established groups like Aces & Queens and Kagandahang Flores attached to their names.
Some pageant enthusiasts are saying that it’s going to be an uphill climb for as long as the camp has not yet paid enough dues (figuratively, of course) to be merited full-fledged honors by BPCI. But if you ask me, that doesn’t really apply 100% because previous titleholders like Mutya Johanna Datul and Krista Kleiner won their crowns as independents.

So what say you, dear readers? Will either Ria or Soraya shine bright on Sunday night? 🙂
The swimsuit glam shots of Binibini 14 Princess Joy Camu and Binibini 4 Renee Soraya Hassani are two of the most talked-about following their official uploads online.
These two ladies somehow managed to steal the thunder from among the favorites as soon as the swimsuit glam shots of Bb. Pilipinas 2015 were released by BPCI.
Binibini 14 Princess Joy Camu (the professional fire dancer from the Bicol region) and Binibini 4 Renee Soraya Hassani (half of the R-L Angels this year) commanded some due notice with their impressive photos shot by ace photographer Raymond Saldaña.
As I have stated in a blog post yesterday, Princess exuded sexy innocence all over. And only the less observant will escape her pull across the board. Soraya, on the other hand, looked like someone straight out of a South American pageant with her Latina vibe in overflow mode.
Can both eye candies follow through with the initially positive impact they created? I hope so. 😉
The Binibinis whose swimsuit glam shots got me all excited
Kylie V completes my ten picks
Truth be told, picking my ten favorites from among the thirty-four (34) official swimsuit Raymond Saldana glam shots can be a ticklish proposition. How can you possibly select just ten when all of them are simply fab in their respective stills?
And so, I decided to single out the ones who project with such a tempting vibe that I couldn’t help but get hooked instantly. Hence, my key word or phrase for each of the ten are as follows:
1) Hannah Ruth Sison – the magnetic smile
2) Ann Lorraine Colis – the eye-catching abs
3) Renee Soraya Hassani – the Latina look
4) Teresita Sen Marquez – the editorial stillness
5) Pia Wurtzbach – the mastered pose
6) Anabel Christine Tia – the mysterious angle
7) Princess Joy Camu – sexy innocence
8) Christi Lynn McGarry – the femme-fatale vibe
9) Nancy Lee Leonard – the tropical diva
10) Kylie Verzosa – the camera simply adores her!
Time now to share the ones who convinced you with their glam shots.
Differences in opinion are welcome, of course. 😉
Who will fly higher between Ria Rabajante and Renee Soraya Hassani?
Ria or Renee Soraya?
This is pretty much a no-brainer.
If anyone between Binibini 3 Ria Rabajante and Binibini 4 Renee Soraya Hassani will make the cut to the Top 10 or 15 on Finals Night, R-L Angels will have already achieved a 50% success rate in terms of placement. And in the event that at least one of them gets into the winning circle, that would be equivalent to a 50% success rate in terms of victory.
And this is not such a far-fetched idea I am playing with. Both ladies are beautiful and competitive enough to be noticed by the judges. It’s not like you can easily classify them as fillers. Ria and Soraya are bold contenders just as much as the next challenger waiting in the wings.
But if you had to choose, who deserves to be scored higher than the other? 🙂
I have featured these Binibinis just recently, but not with their accompanying Truth and Dare videos. This 3-in-1 post will have theirs now.
Time for a 3-in-1 now.
These three Binibinis – Renee Soraya Hassani, Paula Rich Bartolome and Marvi Ann de Lima – have been recently featured in this blog. But now that their Truth and Dare videos are available, I have decided to share their turns in one post – good till the next blog at around lunchtime. Watch them and tell me if your perceptions of the trio have changed for the better. 😉
Binibini 4 Renee Soraya Hassani for Bb. Pilipinas 2015
While Binibini 4 Renee Soraya Hassani made at least one screening attempt for Bb. Pilipinas in a previous year, this is the edition where she finally made the cut and will now officially vie for one of the five (5) crowns up for grabs come March 15. As one of the R-L Angels who qualified, she will team up with Ria Rabajante to try and score a first-ever major title for the camp.
After clinching First Runner-Up during last year’s Mr. and Miss Diversity Culture International competition held here in Manila, Soraya has gained sufficient confidence to come forward and show that she has what it takes to represent the country in a bigger beauty pageant abroad.
Will Renee Soraya come out on top?
Will Lady Luck stay put on Renee Soraya Hassani’s side till the finals on March 15?
We’ll see. For now, good luck in the search, girl! 😀
