The Binibinis during their 'Salute' of an opening number
After watching the opening number of Bb. Pilipinas 2015 last night, I searched online on the music used.
Found it. The all-girl quartet ‘Little Mix’ is responsible for the song “Salute” (watch the original music video below) which was remixed to suit the choreography of the ladies with a most apt theme for all thirty-four (34) Binibinis who dedicated the past two months of their lives to this year’s nationals.
I personally salute each and everyone of you for sharing a big part of yourselves and proving to all that, indeed, the Filipina beauty is and will always be a force to reckon with.

This is a good face-off, if you ask me. Not only does it familiarize you with two of this year’s Binibinis who are not getting enough exposure (due to the long string of hypes about the favorites of many), it also gives me the chance to usher your mind into the presence of these ladies who just might be the come-from-behind performers capable of pulling the rug from right under the leaders’ pretty feet.
Binibini 7 Enrica Roxiele Guieb from Pampanga and Binibini 32 Danita Joan Ruazol from Laguna are the type of beauty contestants who will leave a lasting impression during their stand-alone moments onstage. And both contenders were able to prove that during last Tuesday’s Press Presentation.
Who projects better in your eyes? 7 or 32? (Photo credit: Joy Arguil)
If Rox is said to give out that Miriam Quiambao vibe, Danita has somehow taken into the style of her kababayan Ara Arida. And all in a good way.
The question is, who is doing their move-alikes more favor? I have observed them closely from a good distance. In my eyes, I can truly see the potentials of Binibini 7 as having that extra oomph and panache that still remains untapped in Binibini 32. While the latter exudes a floating charm like cherry blossom falling off the tree during spring, the former approaches her turns with samurai precision. I hope you got my (Japanese-inspired) visions of the two.

Time for a final double take to complete all the Official Candidates of Bb. Pilipinas 2015. Here are the last two ladies with their vids still to be shared. They are from Kagandahang Flores – the first one is a crossover from two other pageants, while the second is a first-timer in the nationals. Meet Ina and Danita.
Binibini 27 Ina Dominica Guerrero
Been there. Done that. Binibini 27 Ina Dominica Guerrero has made the rounds of Miss Philippines Earth and Miss World Philippines. And she has gone full circle with her current candidacy in Bb. Pilipinas 2015.
What she wants to happen here is to get the best pageant fulfillment and hopefully snatch a good placement, if not a title or runner-up honor.
Ina is aware of the difficulty. But she also knows that there is no better time than to do the biggest national pageant than now.
Following is her Truth and Dare video.

Binibini 32 Danita Joan Ruazol
This is one of the few girls we know very little of – a veritable come-from-behind Official Candidate. A native of Cavinti in Laguna, Binibini 32 Danita Joan Ruazol has this short info on her Facebook fan page about pageant exposures prior: “She is actually a newbie, her first ever is Binibining Pinagsangahan 2014, which she represents her native origin, Cavinti and won 2nd runner up. Her first out of her beloved province beauty contest is Miss Casino Filipino Hyatt 2014 where she is one of the top 3 winners and represented the branch in Miss Casino Filipino (Philippines) grand finals. Her latest is Binibining Laguna 2014, with a semi finalist finish. With no modelling experience and little background about pageant, this girl is truly amazing for making it to the official candidates of Binibining Pilipinas 2015, and we know she’s a girl to watch for! No one can tell but this lady might pull a surprise.”
Indeed, surprises can be in store for one or two of the ladies next month. Will Danita be the lucky recipient of that pageant blessing? 😉
One more interesting part of the Bb. Pilipinas every year is the assigning of numbers to the Official Candidates. Some people say that there is significance behind the particular digit/s that a contender receives, such as #1 is vital because she will lead the rest in most appearances or the last digits represent someone who is just as important as #1 because she tail-ends the batch and should encourage a resounding applause after she presents herself. Personally, I always follow the practice that the middle numbers are the tallest, with the first and last as the shortest. Whatever. Watch the vid below and see their individual pins. 😉

R-L Angels went Two for Two
By now, I can already confidently identify the camp affiliations of all the ladies and one of them is an independent. The Bb. Pilipinas 2015 statistics for three (3) groups are now in place. Simply put, Aces & Queens garnered a total of fifteen (15) successful qualifiers in the roster, Kagandahang Flores was able to enter sixteen (16) contenders and R-L Angels chipped in two (2) entries. Since thirty-four (34) Official Candidates were selected, the last remaining girl is courtesy of Designer Jontie Martinez.
