Christopher Munar's accessories used for the cover of Illustrado Magazine
A rising name in high fashion accessories, Christopher Munar is.
What Jojo Bragais is to shoes, Christopher Munar is to accessories.
Here’s another young talent who is all set to establish his presence in the world of fashion and pageants. While the Hotelier-turned-Accessory and Jewelry Designer is actually new in the field (he only started October last year), Christopher Munar has already caught the attention of some fashion designers (like Roland Lirio and Ulysses King) who used his creations for Philippine Fashion Week Summer Spring 2014 after being recommended by his discoverer, Nio Manzano.

From there, his works started showing up in many pictorials, magazine editorials and billboards. In fact, some showbiz personalities (like Max Collins, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Vice Ganda, Janice de Belen, Sam Concepcion and Vina Morales) have already been photographed wearing his jewelry designs and accessories.

Pageants-wise, he has also provided accessories for some of our beauty queens, regardless of camp affiliation. Titled ladies like Miss International 2013 Bea Rose Santiago, Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Datul, Miss Universe Philippines 2013 Ara Arida, Miss World Philippines 2014 Valerie Weigmann, Bb. Pilipinas International 2014 Bianca Guidotti and Bb. Pilipinas Tourism 2014 Parul Shah have worn his pieces during photoshoots and in the actual competitions.

And in only a year’s time, his fabulous pieces are now being sold to markets in the US, Canada, Australia and Singapore. Here in the Philippines, he is being exclusively retailed at the Vatican Fashion Museum in Podium Mall.
And just to coincide with this post, he just made negotiations yesterday with a US-based fashion designer who will use his accessories for her upcoming Summer Spring 2016 Collection.
Christopher Munar's time has come.
There’s no way to go but up for Christopher Munar. He may have paid his dues in only a short amount of time, but a true talent can never be ignored, let alone remain a local hidden gem.
