Look who’s in Venezuela now (with the Philippine sash) for Miss Grand International 2019. After everything that has happened the past week, she is ready to make up for days of absence. Below is a screenshot of the explanation in her IG account.

All the candidates of Miss Grand International 2019 in Caracas, Venezuela have already checked in, except our own Samantha Lo. Where could she be?
The only thing I know for sure is that she missed her connecting flight at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris and that she is supposed to arrive in the Venezuelan capital by October 15. It’s almost midnight of October 14 in Caracas at the time of this blogging. Fingers crossed, we will see her resurfacing within the next twelve hours or so.
That’s all I can say for now.
Venezuela, here she comes!
Bb. Pilipinas Grand International 2019 Samantha Lo was photographed before checking in for her Philippine Airlines flight that will connect to another one before arriving at her destination – the capital of Caracas.
normannorman.com wishes you all the best in this journey to the Miss Grand International crown.
Stay safe and slay them all in the competition!

A message to Bb. Pilipinas Grand International 2019 Samantha Ashley Lo:
You will soon leave for your pageant mission in Venezuela for Miss Grand International 2019. The path – and the long-haul flights – are not the smoothest to tread. But I trust that you will emerge as the Queen who will prove to all Filipinos that you have what it takes to win the bigger crown that your predecessors have not yet bagged. Your game plan will see you shining through. And you should know how by now that part of the challenge is to get on the good side of Mr. Itsaragrisil in the smartest way that I know you’re capable of pulling off.
Buena suerte en tu viaje a la corona! Filipinas se enorgullece de ti!

We already know how good a communicator Samantha is, and she was able to put it into good use not only in her public interviews but also during the Top 15 Q&A when PBA Basketball Player Christian Standhardinger asked about her best non-physical asset. Re-watch her 30-second freetalk during the prelims below when pageant followers started to include her in the list of strong contenders.

Nawatt in Venezuela
It’s already June 1, just a little over a week away from the Grand Coronation Night. Here’s the first of several blog entries for my final Bb. Pilipinas 2019 Predictions.

My #Infinity8 for Bb. Pilipinas Grand Internationa 2019

So for the successor of Eva, my guess is that we need either a Goddess who can blow Nawatt Itsaragrisil away from Day 1 of her National Coronation or an excellent communicator who can eclipse his positive impression of Nicole Cordoves and be an all-around spokesperson for the pageant’s cause against war.
The eight #Binibinis I short-listed for this crown are: Marianne Marquez of Marikina, Gazini Ganados or Talisay, Cebu, Patch Magtanong of Bataan, Hannah Arnold of Masbate, Ilene de Vera of Mandaue City, Julia Saubier of Daraga Albay, Resham Ramirez Saeed of Maguindanao and Vickie Rushton of Negros Occidental.
In my heart, Resham Ramirez Saeed of Maguindanao should win this title. She is an effective speaker who, sadly, is not getting all the right opportunities to fluidly express herself in public. In addition, her half-Pakistani ethnicity can add to the spunk brought about by her growing up years in Canada.

normannorman.com’s choice for Bb. Pilipinas Grand International
Regardless of how we all feel about Miss Grand International and its owner Nawatt Itsaragrisil, Bb. Pilipinas Grand International remains to be one of the six titles at stake in Bb. Pilipinas 2019. One of the forty #Binibinis will eventually be named as such come June 9.
