3rd Runner-Up is Nichole’s Official Placement

The photos is this blog post signify that Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2016 Nichole Manalo is the official 3rd Runner-Up of The Miss Globe 2016.

I know what your next question will be, dear readers. Why was the placement unannounced during the live finals that denied our Queen the special moment of being photographed alongside with the winners? Well, I wish I could give you a statement from the organizers. All I have are these images of Nichole with the 3rd Runner-Up crown. These were taken after the finals during a private moment during post-coronation when the organizers from Deliart Association made the informal crowning of two more runners-up. Miss South Africa was also named 4th Runner-Up. Click the link below for the video on FB.

Nichole is now on her way back to the Philippines. At least we know what her final ranking is now, and with a 3rd Runner-Up crown to prove the claim.

An Indian Supermodel was crowned The Miss Globe 2016 during the finals of the pageant in Tirana, Albania. Dimple Patel succeeds last year’s winner Ann Colis of the Philippines. Yenny Carrillo of Colombia was named 1st Runner-Up, with host delegate Kristina Skurra getting 2nd Runner-Up honors.

Miss Philippines Nichole Manalo finished in the Top 10 (or Top 11 if you will) and was also named Miss Dream Girl of the World (or the prettiest among the candidates).

There is a seven-hour difference between Manila, Philippines and Tirana, Albania. So if the finals of The Miss Globe 2016 will start at around 7pm-ish over there, then that would be around 2am of Saturday (November 26) here. Today is the date when we shall all find out who the successor of Ann Colis will be and if Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2016 Nichole Manalo has made strong enough strides to walk away with the crown that will bring her dreams of a back-to-back win to a most meaningful realization.

I know that our bet is one of the more highly-regarded candidates in this year’s batch. And even if one pageant follower will check the roster only for the first time, it would be hard to ignore the beauty and presence of Nichole in the competition. She stands out without a doubt. So if the Albanian organizers do not mind giving the 2016 crown to another Filipina, then I don’t see any reason for missing the victory (or coming very very close to it at worst).

Nichole Manalo placed 3rd during the Miss Bikini Competition of The Miss Globe 2016

Tirana, Albania may be far away but the updates on The Miss Globe 2016 are coming just as if the competition is being held just around Asia.

Yesterday, Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2016 Nichole Manalo made her first cited impact when she placed 3rd during the Miss Bikini side competition topped by Miss South Africa, with Colombia placing 2nd. Prior to this, she joined the other delegates on a tour of the Albanian capital mixed with sponsor visits in between.

I am sure the organizers are keeping an eye on our bet. Nichole is a definite stunner and by now, she has already adjusted well to the new settings.

And I will keep you regularly posted on what’s happening in Albania. 😉

Miss Philippines Nichole Manalo in Tirana for The Miss Globe 2016

Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2016 Nichole Manalo has arrived in Tirana, Albania to represent the country in The Miss Globe 2016. And among all the candidates, she is one of the few who can get settled in right away because the reigning titleholder (and big sister to the ladies) is our very own Ann Lorraine Colis. Having another Filipina around for the entire competition will definitely make our bet feel more at ease.

But then again, the pressure also comes from having a compatriot as the current holder of the crown. The prospects of going for a back-to-back win is certainly not a walk in the park, even if our Nichole is – without a doubt – a standout.

Are the Albanian organizers ready to crown another Filipina so soon? What do you think are Nichole’s chances in Tirana? 🙂

Earlier in the afternoon at the Versailles Tent Event Center of Novotel Manila Araneta Center, the twin send-off for Bb. Pilipinaw 2016 Queens Joanna Eden/Nichole Manalo and arrival presscon for Miss Grand International 2016 1st Runner-Up Nicole Cordoves were held for the attending members of the media.

Both Joanna and Nichole were at their loveliest that I could almost swear that they will bring home the crowns in their respective missions – the former with our 2nd Miss Supranational win (in Slovakia and Poland) and the latter with a back-to-back 2nd country victory in The Miss Globe (in Albania).

Nicole Cordoves, on the other hand, was her usual articulate self all throughout the simultaneously-held Arrival Presscon in her honor. She gamely answered “Trump”-related questions from the Press and said that she would not change a single thing in every move that she made in Las Vegas. She proudly displayed her 1st Runner-Up trophy to the delight of many.

Sunday Specials: Where to after Miss Globe, Ann Colis?

Later this month, The Miss Globe 2015 Ann Colis will return to Tirana, Albania to crown her successor from among the 2016 contenders which include Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2016 Nichole Manalo. But where will the end of that journey find her going to after?

Actually, I had a phone chat with Ann when she arrived in Manila earlier this week. She just came from Los Angeles and New York where she got booked for a string of hosting and modeling gigs that should open up doors for a promising career in the US. This sounds like a move that parallels that of Miss Universe 2012 1st Runner-Up Janine Tugonon who is already based there.

And Ann is keeping her fingers crossed that the opportunities will keep coming as she embarks on a new chapter of her post-pageant adventures as a professional onstage – be it on the runway or as an events host.

Best of luck, my dear Ann! I know that the strong determination within will bring you places. Keep doing us proud. 🙂

The quote in the title of this blog post came from Bb. Pilipinas Supranational 2016 Joanna Eden herself. And indeed, the twin official send-offs for her and Bb. Pilipinas-Globe 2016 Nichole Manalo will happen next week. I can’t wait to see both ladies get their respective missions in motion. We all know that they are the two (2) KF titleholders in Bb. Pilipinas 2016, and I sure would like to see them do very well internationally.

Nichole will go to Tirana, Albania, while Joanna is luckier – destination-wise – as she will be visiting two countries for the whole stretch of the contest – Slovakia and Poland.

More updates on the two beauties as their dates with destiny get closer and closer! 😉
