  1. For me, the last row are the most beautiful.
    Francesca
    Honey
    Danica
    Vickie

  2. For me , Ysabella has a very good chance of winning MUP
Alternatives : Sandra Alaiza Michelle Paula Apriel
Ysabella ‘s advantage is her very feminine and classy demeanor . She can also speak very well .

  3. Since Miss International doesn’t have any Q&A portion (except for a memorized speech), shouldn’t Bb Pilipinas modify its selection of Bb Pilipinas International, its top national title, to fit that mold?

    • @ Casper Speech for the Top 12/15 would be nice….. But even the sometimes-quirky introductions at gay/barangay beaucons could be considered a kind of speech, too. Not that they should do it that way. 🙂

I am also of the opinion that MIO organization really cares little as to the content and uses that segment to assess the voice quality of the semifinalists, as when @ Fabian Reyes says Maureen Montaigne is suited for Tokyo as her voice is feminine… The fact that MITop 5 finishers seem to do much talking – as presently with Evelyn Namatovu doing the rounds of diplomatic circles in Kampala – means she also needs to sound as sweet as she looks.

But, given their other franchises have some form of questioning – whether onstage in Poland, casual chats in Albania, or behind closed doors to a judging panel in Cairo – it would still be helpful to have the Question Round.

    • @Casper: I aired similar concern in a post below. MI, MS, MG, MIntercon, and MGI don’t crown highly intellectual beauties who can deliver brilliant one-liners thrown on-the-spot in front of millions of live and TV audiences. They simply look for a beutiful someone who can memorize and effectively deliver a prepared or ghostwritten speech.

  4. Karen Laurrie Mendoza
    is my favorite
although she looks more french than filipina ( like eva green)
but more than that she seems nice and full of charm

  5. Nicest voice among the candidates is Maureen .
I think she can do a Lara Q
At MI , it’s not always the prettiest girl that wins, Her uber feminine vibe and friendly sweet disposition can win her our 7th lcrown

  6. If was a candidate not included in your top 20, I’d probably feel slighted and not be open to doing interview with you . But it’s just me . I hope these girls don’t have that mind set and will welcome u with open arms when the my see you .

  7. Physically, everybody is obviously crownworthy. But who has the winning edge at MI, MS, MG, and MIntercon? She who has the superior ability to memorize and deliver a prepared or ghostwritten speech.

    • @flor I feel maureen can be MI pH. She have the demeanor na soft at natural ang sagot. If madam finds a more MI type then mau can be supra.
Naisip ko Lang Malamang pinay citizen mgi natin at natuklasan NG bbp na masakit sa ulo padala sa vene ang dual citizen ex Hanna or maureen
Unless magpumilit si angkol sa gusto nya. His taste varies Eva, Elizabeth clenci and cordoves

    • @Flor Tula- magtiwala lang po tayo sa BPCI. In the end nasa sa kanila po ang final say at wala sa atin. Thank you.

  9. Bb. Pilipinas-International 2020- Patrizia Garcia
Bb. Pilipinas-Supranational 2020- Samantha Mae Bernardo
    Miss Grand-Philippines 2020- Maureen Montagne
Bb. Pilipinas-Intercontinental 2020- Vickie Marie Rushton
Bb. Pilipinas-Globe 2020- Hazel Joy Ortiz

    1st Runner-up Hannah Arnold
    2nd Runner-up Gabrielle Basiano

  10. FLOR HINDI HAMAK NA MAS MARAMING MAGAGANDA SA BBP AS COMPARED TO MUP. PERO ang MALAKING KATANUNGAN DITO IS – KAYA BA NILANG SAGUTIN NANG MAAYOS ANG Q & A PORTION SA FINALS? LORD PLEASE…

AKO, GUSTO KO NANG MANALO SINA VICKIE RUSHTON & SAMANTHA BERNARDO PARA MAKA-GRADUATE na SILA sa PAGEANTRY. MATAGAL NANG NAGHIHINTAY si JASON PARA PAKASALAN si VICKIE at PARA MAKA-CONCETRATE na si SAMANTHA sa MALARIA CONTROL sa PALAWAN at PAGBEBENTA ng INSURANCE COVERAGE. He, he, he… Pwede si VICKIE either sa Miss International or Miss Intercontinental. Si Samantha ay FIT for Miss Grand International.
HANNAH ARNOLD either for Miss International or Miss Supranational. MAUREEN MONTAGNE either for Miss Supranational or Miss Globe. And JUSTINE FELIZARTA for either Miss Globe or Miss Intercontinental.

VERY GOOD ALTERNATES (IF THEY CAN ACE THE Q & A) ARE: Carina Cariño, Karen Laurrie Mendoza, Patricia Denise Babista, Gabrielle Basiano, Shanon Tampon, & Francesca Taruc. (The other 2 for runners up).

    • @ paul Thank you for bringing up this matter about Samantha and Vickie “graduating” from pageantry. But before I start, I want you to know that in the background, I am listening to Tita Lavinia’s chat with “inday” Alaiza on YouTube…..

I found out only here that KF “boycotted” MUP. Now, Tito Rodgil I am sure he wants to make the BEST impression with BPCI, and he does this by offering his three standard bearers for Mdme. SMA’s scrutiny (again). During the Screening, it was unnerving for me because last year perceived “automatics” like Wynonah Buot and Ruffa Nava were shockingly left out and I was thinking the same would happen this year. i was wrong. Apparently, BPCI relented to fans’ wishes and allowed the Tres Marias in (Maureen being the third) with nary an interrogation.

But here’s the THING. I honestly do not believe all three will crown. Best case is two. @ unorthodox said so – Vickie peaked last year. She should have been given at least (The)Globe, if her shaky Q&A would not permit her to get a higher title. And of the three, it is Sam I want to finally go abroad. Unless you do nor mind her being recruited for the ICSM-Infinity-PGQ…. Maureen, c’mon. Quota na ‘yan! Nag-Runner-up na sa Eco-International, nakaranas na sumubok for MUSA, at nag CTS. Enough na.

Here’s what I think will happen.

Mdme. SMA, in her infinite wisdom, will NOT give KF a sweep to keep their feet firmly planted. Of the five titles at stake, not more than two will go to KF. One will be given to A&Q (your guess is as good as anybody’s), and the remainder will be given to the others (independents and RL-Gabrielle).

If there is anybody you wish to IMMEDIATELY crossover – whether MWP, Mutya, or MUP 2021 though MPE might be a stretch for lack of time – HUWAG MO NA i-Runner-up para hindi na sila matali ng mahaba’ng kontrata sa BPCI. ANG RUNNER-UP, DAPAT ‘YUNG PUWEDE PA’NG WITHIN THE NEXT TWO TO THREE YEARS UMULIT. Those that can still use plenty of polishing and could clearly profit from a full year with the BPCI family. In your opinion, sino-sino ‘yun?

      • Pakinggan ko muna silang MAGSALITA FLOR. I am WAITING for those videos from our MASTER BLOGGER. He, he, he…

      • @Flor I can also feel that not all three KF flagbearers will be crowned. However, i have this weird feeling that Sam B is the likeliest to go home empty-handed among the three, despite being the most international-competition-ready. And despite going downhill from her peak last year, I think Vickie is the likeliest to nail a crown on the virtue that Madam might be very likely to give in to the supposed “request” of the MIO for Vickie.

      • @ unorthodox Really??! MIO is UP TO NOW still bent on/interested in Vickie? She’s LUCKY. 🙂

Naalala ko noon, nagsalita si Luis Trujillo na aprubado sa kanya si Job Abogado. This was Mister Model International 2016. You know the story….. Blogger San probably does. I don’t.

More to the point, it will be one of the standard-bearers – Vickie, Samantha, Maureen – and a freshie/noob. The one that comes to (my) mind is Franceska Taruc, but surely she is not the only one among the “first-timers” who elbow and jockey with impunity.

Among the independents, Justine Felizarta is probably the best option.

I am VERY nervous for Gabby. Pero, bata pa naman siya. I am willing to bet, if she returns to MPE, Carousel will no longer brush her off. Ngayon at nakita (na) nila ang very positive public reception sa kanila’ng Elemental Court consisting of beauties that the Waray lass would not entirely look out of place in.

    • Will there still be a Q&A portion in the finals when the international edition of these contests do not have that portion but simply delivery of a prepared speech? Don’t you think BBP will give much premium to communication excellence and brain power when the foreign franchises focus only on the physical beauty and the ability to memorize and deliver a speech?

      • @ scorg Pardon me for intruding…..

We know Supranational and Grand International have a Final Question. Intercontinental has a Preliminary Closed-Door Interview, and (The)Globe has a Head-to-Head Challenge like World. Only International relies on the one-time Speech.

Honestly and I said this before, now that MUP is no longer in their care, BPCI can now begin to tone the questions down to less contentious subjects. That’s not too bad.

The emphasis on advocacy and excellent communication will be something WE OURSELVES WILL EXPECT. I am not at all worried because WE will hold on to this practice/tradition — the Q&A — which sees its HIGHEST expression in gay/barangay beaucons. So what if foreign franchisors do not see it our way? What’s MORE important is that WE OURSELVES are convinced we can TALK. And well.

At the recently-concluded Manhunt International, not a few were disappointed when Rosko Dickinson admitted he sees no need for a Question Round in a straightforward (male) modelling contest. You know what fans did? They intercepted the winner and bombarded him with personal questions, as if making it clear that the audience was fully unsatisfied with “just looks” judging. He, as a result, was left with no choice but to speak up. You see? Lucky thing he was good in English. He was Dutch, with some facility in French, by the way… But even there…. doesn’t being a polyglot suggest mental strength, too?

  11. Honey for Miss Globe.
    Hanna for Supra
Vickie for International to shut up TitasofPageantry continuous pimping of Rushton hihihihihi
    Laurie for Intercontinental
Babista for Grand -gorgeous fez and she can try out for MUP

Laurie could win too for Intercontinental, She has Thai-looks in her that don’t bode well given the current winner is Thai.

I wouldn’t mind Vickie for Interncontinental and Hanna for International.

  12. You no longer like Ticaro of Tagum (City), Blogger Master? The teacher, like Pangindian at MUP?

Bueno! Send her to Miss Friendship International once the nCOV wave dissipates….

The China Communist Party will appreciate her charms, I am positive. 🙂

    • I still like her, reason why I had to name the ones I sacrificed to make a Top 20. Let’s see how things will fluctuate the next month
