  1. Kavahan na ang #CatGanern!!!! She can compete with Catriona in the beauty department. Her picture is very statueque. Go steal that signed, sealed but not yet delivered MUP crown!!!!! Hihihihihi

    • mama beauty department super layo. It’s like Louis Vuitton vs H&M. Actually with all other departments super layo ni Cat

    • The biggest room for improvement is her comm skills. She seems fond of verbal deadwoods. Well, most Filipinos in the Philippines are guilty of this communication crime. They seem to equate quality with quantity. The same can be observed in Philippines politics.

Verbal deadwood. Mob mentality. Superficial populism…

  2. She has the looks. Very strong ang aura. Beauty Queen material but sadly the MUP crown is destined to be on Cat’s head.

  3. Guwapa! One of the natural beauties in this batch. No make-up, light make-up or heavy make-up … bagay sa mukha niya. This lady with delicate features and strong presence definitely deserves a second long look … and a crown 👑

With all the bad light she’s getting with her past re communication skills, I’m really hoping she has improved. 🤞🤞🤞

    Best of luck, Muriel!

Hair up or hair down?? 🤔

  4. she was miss earth philippines air
so i think she will use that experience to her advantage

the way they styled her in the photo with the
pink background makes her super sophisticated

    i hope she wins !

  5. Again , Velez College … then NU?
What does this say abt her in terms of academic achievements ?
She has no weight at all.
She will not be my MUP … unless she can talk .

    • What’s wrong with Velez and NU fabian.
Eh yung schools ng past Miss U winners baka vocational courses lng mga yan or worst certificate of attendance lng hihihi 😄
Basta nagsasalita pati pek2 ay bongga yan divah😄cherette

      • What’s wrong with Velez and NU, Bong700, is that they are Velez and NU.
Venus Rah graduated Cum Laude . So it does not matter that she went to a podunk university
U know Shamcey Janine and Ara were academically superior
MJ is a computer engineering grad , so may utak
Oh ,, you r referring to Pia MU 2015.m….The best achiever of them all? Hihihi It may just be a certificate in cooking . But she can talk and her experience on stage made her a very strong candidate.
Everyone agrees Maxene looks a lot better than she talks
And Rachel ? I don’t know what she went to school for . But mukhang may Kaya at well-travelled . She’s well-spoken so this more than makes up for everything else.

      • I think you should not underestimate Velez College. It is one of the best schools here in Region 7 for Medical Technology, PT and OT. They’ve produced many top notchers in those fields. I think you should get your facts known first before you make any comment.

  6. Andaming sinasabi ng mga baklang pangit. Idisqualify na nga lahat ng contestants ng wala ng matira total wala naman talagang tunay na maganda.

  7. Maganda pero maliit for me. Sana atleast 5’7 ang manalo Miss Universe Philippines. So she is a no for me. Lower Titles at runner ups pwede pero sa dami magaganda at may mga bongga qualifications in this batch. Mahihirapan e2.

  8. Maganda naman pero di super ha na tipong levels nila Demi ganern. Sana magaling siyang sumagot sa Q&A. Di pwedeng maganda lang sa BBP ngayon.

  9. Dami nya alam ka ekekan sa buhay!!!!
Unique experiences ba yan??? Parang di naman!!!!!!
Try nya kaya mag surfing sa baha???!
    Mag Snorkeling sa Ilog Pasig????
    Mag hiking sa umaalburutong Mayon?!!
    Mag Skinny dipping sa Boracay????
    Mag mountain climbing sa payatas!!!?

  10. Murielle may not be superbeauty (she resembles Maria Ozawa who recently ranted against unprofessional TNV drivers stalking her through anonymous text messages), but she can take away the BbP-Intercontinental crown. Her beauty sparkles and can turn heads as she walks in a room. Her long neck is to die for, making her look taller.

Her pageant and work experiences plus civic activities give me confidence that she can communicate well. Good luck, Murielle! I wish you the best in your BbP pageant journey.

  12. Some contradiction from her statement above:

    * How can you execute your advocacy when you are up in the air 5 or 6 days a week?

    * Did she went to 3 different schools in college?

    * Velez college was in Cebu then she graduated at NU in Manila? Which means she didn’t graduate on time because not all her academics in her previous school will be credited,

    Which led me to conclude,

Medyo high risk when it comes to commitment

    Not for MI or MU

      • In both ways, the remaining days would have been spent as “rest days”

    • Starting and ending in a different course doesn’t solely mean the lack of commitment. There can be other certain factors that are unknown to us that caused the delay of graduation.

      • If u r in third year college taking up a 4year course, and u r one year left to the finish line, why give it up and prolong it in another location?

Maybe we have a different definition of commitment.

      • So I must assume that u might have direct connections with her in order for you to come up with that conclusion. If it was found in the internet, then if based on reality, its kind of shaming to post such tiny details.

I believe there might be other reasons why that happened. We don’t know her personally.

      • You r right , Pageantluv. Maybe she moved to Manila for more modeling opportunities?
But Claire is right too for questioning her sense of commitment and responsibility . Why go to NU if u can be accepted at a more reputable school? Was it because her grades were so-so or did NU offer a schedule that fit her lifestyle more … her working as a flight attendant and model ?
Well, Bb 3 , could you give us an answer?

      • It doesn’t require a tremendous load of calculation to determine the stages of education each student is undergoing “by default” in the Philippines pre-K+12.

I judge people based on the product of their action and decisions and not on hearsay or heresy!

      • She finished her degree at NU. Isn’t that a commitment on its own? To be part of the Presidential cabin crew is a commitment and an accomplishment on its own as well.

I agree with PageantLuv. We don’t know her personally to question her about commitment.

Maybe if you’re really inclined to know, message her on Instagram to get the real story 😉

    • @Claire the point is… we can’t make direct assumptions that she lacks commitment and the sense of responsibility as it sounds unpleasantly judgemental. Something might had happened in that stage of her life which paved her to make a decision and she later ended in Manila. If i put my own shoes on hers, I would never want to give up most especially if i have one more year left. Many things may happen in life and that’s what im open to think about and we all should consider as only mere audiences/critiques as of the moment.

Im a Cebuana myself and Im familiar with those institutions… I have friends that were from STC and one common factor I realized was that they were the usual outdoorsy type of people with great cerebral capabilities. Velez college is known here to be one of toughest institutions for medical/nursing fields. As much as I didn’t want to assume anything negative about her capabilities because I don’t know her personally, I think that the possible cause of ending up in NU was her change of interest. She knows what she wants in her life and what makes her happy. Velez College is a no joke. You will have to give up a big part of ur social life to survive and graduate. Our great servers inclined with medical fields are usually graduates from Velez College and Cebu Doctor’s University.

I apologize if I had offended u in any way but labeling someone who doesn’t have that commitment is so off when she actually still graduated and landed a good job (to the president’s cabin) which would make her happy to serve the people. Joining Binibini and dreaming to represent our land is truely not an easy task but I believe she knows what’s ahead and prepared herself for it. Please wag nyo kamo i-underestimate. Kung ano man kayo mga tagalog, ganun din kami dahil mga Pilipino tayong lahat. As a common trait amongst ourselves, we always defend and have each other’s back.
