Styling is an art.
Texture is created by the fabric a model wears.
The colour pallet dictates the mood of many shots.
And the personality?
Let your #Binibini1 Samantha Alexandra Panlilio provide different angles to her character.
After all, her beauty is already a given.

It was a meet-and-greet I simply couldn’t say no to. For starters, having an event like this happens in Alabang (or the south of Metro Manila) very rarely. Since I reside in Parañaque, going to Molito Lifestyle Centre is a breeze. Secondly, I discovered my not-so-distant blood relations with the honoree. My paternal grandmother and her father are aunt and nephew, respectively. And for that matter, the very first Bb. Pilipinas – her aunt Myrna Panlilio – is also common in our thread.
Here are some photos and videos from the meet-and-greet with #Binibini1 Samantha Alexandra Panlilio of Cavite and invited members of the pageant media.
Below, she answers a few questions from your blogger:
Now, she talks about part of her advocacy as a potential Beauty Queen:
And will she be the next “Samantha” to be crowned Bb. Pilipinas?
Samantha Panlilio – in person – tends to give me an Elizabeth Clenci vibe to be honest. She has this cool aura about her. If she can channel more of this and up her ante even more, then I won’t be surprised if she finds herself on the shortlisted beeline for one of the crowns on April 17.
After the unveiling of the National Costume of Binibini 1 Samantha Alexandra Panlilio last month (left photo), the FB page of Bb. Pilipinas had started its slow reveal of the other Raymond Saldaña photos of the candidates wearing their respective traditional garbs. Today, two (2) were uploaded – Binibini 18 Karen Laurrie Mendoza of Iloilo and Kimberly Anne Tiquestiques of Balagtas, Bulacan.

Bulalakaw is said to be a deity who has the appearance of a gigantic, shining bird or a bird-humanoid hybrid, as some believed he looks like a thin boy wearing a bird-like headdress or even a genderless deity with a bird’s head. Some stories describe him to be a diwata who visits the earthly plane in form of a comet, hence the name Bulalakaw.

Behold #Binibini19 Kimberly Anne Tiquestiques of Balagtas, Bulacan in her National Costume for Bb. Pilipinas 2020 created by Marvin Garcia.
Dubbed as the “Queen of Philippine Festivals”, Flores de Maria or Flores de Mayo is believed to be first observed in 1865 in Bulacan when Fr. Mariano Sevilla wrote the “Dalit kay Maria.”
Embellished with thousand flowers and crystal stones that epitomize the gigantic jewelry industry of Meycauayan and highlighted by the magnanimous “kinayas na kawayan of the Singkaban Fiesta”, this bamboo artwork is a traditional form of architecture that is now being used as a welcoming arch in festivities all over the Philippine archipelago.
Most importantly, the Singkaban arch serves as an iconic emblem of Bulacan’s history, arts, culture and tourism that massively speak about the Bulakenyo’s widely known culture of generosity and hospitality.

Below are the #IAMBINIBINI introduction videos of the first half of the Bb. Pilipinas 2020 candidates. You will notice that there are still missing (or skipped) Binibinis. I am simply relying on what the organizers are uploading in their YouTube channel. Hence, the efforts of 5, 7, 11, 16 and 20 are still not here.
Make way for these wise queens as they shop ‘til they drop wearing BRAGAIS™️ Cristy & Darylle.
Then feel the power of our modern Filipina queens as they stood their ground confidently and independently with BRAGAIS™️ Gazini and Jehza.

Since the official swimwear photos of the 40 Binibinis of Bb. Pilipinas 2020 will be presented in four groups of ten on different days, it makes things a little easier to judge the standouts in each. By the time we finish with the last batch, we may have already come up with a relatively more definitive Top 20. Of course, it is not entirely fair for whichever group of ten has far more outstanding ladies than the other. At any rate, let’s do it since this will be based solely on photos.
For Binibinis 1-10, it is obvious that the two most crown-worthy contenders are #Binibini4 Patrizia Garcia and #Binibini9 Patricia Denise Babista. As reader Flor would put it, these two beauties can easily grab crowns if it were only the first ten ladies remaining.
I would personally add #Binibini8 Meiji Cruz and #Binibini7 Shanon Tampon for their pageant maturity. They are both beautiful as well. My fifth spot would be for #Binibini10 Shaira Rona because – aside from being the tallest here, she has the budding potential to shine far better when it matters most. I would love to see #Binibini1 Samantha Panlilio because of her excellent communication skills and pedigree. But then again, height still has its advantage in pageantry.
Looking forward to Binibinis 11-20 now. This is the group where it will be tougher to separate the upper from the lower half.
Here are Binibinis 1-10 in their official swimwear photos for Bb. Pilipinas 2020. Release of the next group of ten will not automatically follow so you can appreciate this group first, as per BPCI’s social media team.

She may not be the tallest among the 40 Binibinis of Bb. Pilipinas 2020. But as they say, some big things come in smaller packages. And what she may lack in terms of a statuesque frame is more than made up by her impressive communication skills. Oh and yes, the Panlilio pedigree as well.

After yesterday’s release of the Raymond Saldaña Official Photos for Bb. Pilipinas 2020, normannorman.com is posting its 1st Round of 20 Picks for the competition. In the order by which they are numbered now:
Coming up with this list of 20 is already tough as it is. I had to sacrifice a few of the Binibinis because I initially had 23 (with the inclusion of Vianca Marcelo, Kimberly Anne Tiquestiques and Lesley Anne Ticaro). With 40 contenders, cutting them in half at this point is more ideal. I am confident, though, that the five (5) new titleholders will be among the ladies named above.
Hi! Norman here. When I'm not working, I spend most of my free time planning on daily blogs. If you will notice, I always make sure that a fresh topic comes out everyday - not an easy thing to do but it's all good. Thanks for dropping by and enjoy the visit!
