One of the sweetest parts of Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Finals Telecast was when the production used fresh OPM (Original Pilipino Music) tunes in its soundtrack. Below are videos of the two which really lifted the Top 16 segments even more. Sharing with you:
Upcoming singer JM Bales and “Magandang Dilag” which was sang during the Top 16 Swimwear Competition.
The trio of Anjo Damiles, Allen Cecilio and Kevin Montillano singing the song “Kalawakan” which was used during the Evening Gown Competition.
Interestingly enough, one of them – Anjo Damiles – is the nephew of Bb. Pilipinas Universe 1996 Aileen Leng Damiles.

I prefer that second track… “Kalawakan”. Mr. Tinio, tell their manager (JG?) to have this remixed by sampling “Meet Me Halfway” by the Black Eyed Peas!
And I think it’s great that all three candidates of the Cebu Cluster made the Top 16. BRAVO!

I love the songs. I love that MUP kept its originality by using fresh OPM during the pageant. Anjo Damiles is very handsome.
