Hair’s easy to fix. I actually like the length and layering, lots of things that can be done with it.

It’s a good makeover, highlighting her natural side. She’s a gorgeous girl and doesn’t need pancake makeup. The soft approach will be a contrast to the War of Foundations that is Miss U. Now if we can only steer our girl away from mentioning the Almighty in the interview rounds. Remember, it’s not Miss Nuniverse so keep faith where it belongs, in the heart and in church.

Aside from being crowned Miss Universe…These ladies have one thing in common. I will leave it at that.
It’s a minefield and can sound patronizing if the candidate doesn’t have the oomph to make the point. MJ seems intelligent so hopefully she can rely on her breadth of experience and not just one aspect of her life.

MJ Is gorgeous no doubt. Are we going to expect a transformation the way the 4-peat queens before her did? It seems she hasn’t changed a bit – same waistline, smile, hairstyle, makeup. I don’t know if it’s bad but me thinks she has to come up with something, anything, to surprise us. And please no scandal or controversy. That’s so Philippine showbiz!
Mrs Coleman, I can’t help myself but have to ask you what do you mean MJ needs to surprise you? Or I guess, you mean surprise us. Her tenacity and perseverance and her despite not winning 2 times prior and yet she went for her dream isn’t surprising enough for you? You say she is gorgeous no doubt and yet it seems to me you are complaining that she in not good enough. Well, you have your opinion and I have mine. MJ won with what she has. She’s been gracious and have been working hard and is no doubt doing her best training. She does not need to please us and ask for our approval. The problem with us “miron” is we all have our opinion and most the times all we can share is our doubts, our panlalait. The best thing to do is just show support. End of story.

Well Mrs. Coleman, I’m from the old school of thought that if it’s not broken, don’t fix it. She’s blossoming quite nicely if you ask me. Remember, there is a thin line between “surprise” and “shock”.
