Above is the initial schedule of the important activities for Bb. Pilipinas 2020. Barring any sudden change/s in dates and the like, the Grand Coronation Night will happen – just as I have told some – after Holy Week in April.
Mid- to late-April will definitely be busy for everyone in the pageant.
Now the possibility of the events overlapping with those of Miss Universe Philippines 2020 will be inevitable considering that May 3 will be MUP Finals at MOA Arena. But from where I blog, that shouldn’t be a problem.
As far as the possibility of a provincial engagement for the Binibinis, I have no updates yet. But that is likely to happen in late March.
The Mr World 2019 candidates were given a rousing welcome at the Novotel Manila Araneta Center (Official Residence) earlier in the afternoon today. Actually, around half of the expected 88 have already checked-in, with the rest arriving tonight and tomorrow to complete the roster for Thursday’s Press Presentation.
Mr Philippines JB Saliba – looking stylish and spiffy in a Barong Tagalog – was on hand to welcome his new brothers. The atmosphere was very festive as loud banging of rhythmic drums filled the hotel’s lobby.
Between now and August 22, the candidates will have their hands full with different activities and fast-track challenges leading to the finals on August 23 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
