ajohn1 It may be just half a minute long, but the introductory video should whet our appetite even more for Mr. World Philippines 2014 John Spainhour.

All we have been seeing of him are photos in the various challenges and special activities. So to finally watch and hear him speak at the same time should start our weekend right.

Right, dear readers? 😉

And just so you know, John celebrated his birthday yesterday. Mr. Canada Jin Stewart gamely joined him in the pic below while blowing the candles on the cake.

  2. I actually love his intro vid. Brief, simple, concise and direct to the point. His inner strength lies in his quiet yet likeable demeanor and his military experience would give him an edge in the fast track events. With such a short notice to represent us in the MW2014, let’s make some noise and wish him all the best !!! Let’s show him some love ♥♥♥

    • Anong basis mo naman te? Dahil may pagkamahiyain “No love for the Philippines” na agad? Baka ikaw..kape pa para magising ka sa mga kahibangang pumapasok sa utak. Masyadong nega at judgemental. Tsupi!

  8. Mr. Canada was there just to join John in the pic, but I don’t think they share the same birthday.

  9. He’d earn my respect if he clinches a slot in the finals out of his own merits, rather than from huge votes from his fans or whatever. After all this isn’t a popularity contest.

  10. Tito Norms, let’s encourage our kababayans to view and “like” John’s Introductory Video in Youtube. As of this morning, his video only has 300+ views. Mr. Italy has 800+ views. Sana all the 16,000 +++ followers of John’s Mr. World Facebook account will view and like his YouTube Introductory Video.

    Also, I suggest that we post nice pics or messages for John in the Mr. World Facebook. Let’s “like” all posts about John.

    Let’s not leave any stone unturned for the multi media ticket to Top Ten. What do you think, Tito Norms?

  11. Bakit wala syang introductory video kagaya ng ibang contestants?

    • The last minute announcement and departure for the UK less than 24 hours after that prevented him from recording one here. Up to the actual awarding of the 2014 spot, nobody knew who was going to Torquay between him and Sam.

  12. Differences in opinion is healthy. It can lead to team success, more than break a bond.

    With this in mind, i say no more. Peace!

  13. He may place as a runner up (Only because he is reppin’ Philippines) but he will not win.

    He does not have the Alpha male aura. He looks and sound passive/submissive. He looks and sound too timid and boyish… He needs to be reminded he is gunning for Mr World title. Keyword MISTER (Adult, grown, mature)

    • Last time I checked, being a gentleman is a Filipino virtue. Just because ang mga type mong guys ay mga bilibid boys does not mean your opinion is correct and valid.

    His shyness is palpable, but for me, that’s one of John’s endearing qualities that makes him very lovable. He has this raw, oozing and unpretentious charm that’s simply irresistible, and a more reason why he should be our Mr. World 2014.
