To say that Caroline Medina is beautiful would be an underestimation. This 19 year-old Venezuelan is a drop-dead gorgeous sizzler. After winning the Miss Earth-Venezuela title in last year’s national finals (won by Vanessa Goncalves), she was selected by Osmel Sousa for her first assignment as representative to Reina Hispanoamericana 2010 held in Bolivia. She handily won that competition.
And with a long period to prepare herself for Miss Earth 2011, Caroline is definitely a force to reckon with. I don’t want to sound too presumptuous, but she is easily one of the top favorites to win this year. It’s like saying that the crown is hers to lose. What does she need to take the competition all the way? Well, she has to prove that she is environmentally-attuned and willing to joyously take part in all of the pre-pageant activities involving its main cause – Mother Earth. It’s not enough that she gives drafted answers to questions about pollution or waste segregation. The organizers should see a sincere commitment to its ideals. Now that ain’t hard, right?
If she plays her cards right, then we might be looking at the second Venezuelan to win Miss Earth. 🙂
