Up until August last year, controversies surrounded Sirey Moran as she was stripped of the Miss Universe Honduras crown due to contractual issues and a less-than-pleasant behavior as reported in this article. The incidents went from bad to worse if the cited incidents will be analyzed. But somehow, peaceful heads heads prevailed and, after amicable talks that cleared up all the concerns, Sirey remains with the title and should now be packing her bags for a Manila arrival soon.
26 year-old Sirey is not one to just let the unfortunate turn of events get in the way. She held on to her crown with such firm grasp and is now asking the support of all fans in her bid to become the first Miss Universe from Honduras.
In Sirey’s Miss Universe quick bio, it states she “believes that smiling and being happy will help you live a happier and healthier life. After volunteering at FEIH, Rotary Club of Historic Jackson Heights, Charmont Academy Roatan Honduras, and more, Moran hopes to use her experiences to help raise awareness for abandoned children. Moran hopes to take home the crown, and make a positive change for the world.
Comtroversies are nothing new in Miss Universe. In fact, it helps make noise about a candidate considering the number of beautiful faces to choose from. Attention is a must. But at what cost in the long run?
Your thoughts about Sirey, dear readers?
