Kizia Jermaine Maligalig is as fresh as fresh gets if you want a beautiful Filipina who has done her decent share of provincial and national (festival) pageantry for the past two years. She was crowned Mutya ng Atimonan 2018 which elevated her to take part in Bb. Niyogyugan 2018 that gathers the best of the Province of Quezon. She also claimed her spot as the representative of the Tagultol Fishing Festival during Reyna ng Aliwan 2019 where she was named as the well-deserved recipient of the important Miss Photogenic award.
While some pageant watchers might quip that she still needs more training for the bigger national competitions, I can say that Kizia is most ready to prove that she can claim a spot either as a Binibini or Mutya. Or an Earth Angel if you will. And this 2020, she can do just that, especially with the full support of her beloved Atimonan.
Given the expanded landscape of national pageants in the country, we should give every lovely and qualified Pinay the chance to empower herself and shine in the big league.
I have been eyeing this beautiful lady for the longest time, like even when she just graduated from High School. I also know that her family values education to the fullest. So off she went to enroll at the De La Salle University. Now, she is a Bachelor of Science graduate major in Management of Financial Institutions. Magna. Cum. Laude.
Patricia Denise D. Babista of Lucban, Quezon had her share of pageant participations but on a less magnified scale. She took part in Bb. Niyogyugan 2018 and placed 2nd Runner-Up. Not bad for someone who just wanted to put her feet in the water and get a feel of the competition. Besides, representing the Municipality of Lucban was an important stepping stone she had to go through first before doing the nationals.
I know that Pat has been getting her regular doses of training under Aces & Queens even as far back as the time when the country hosted the 65th Miss Universe when she was part of the tribute event for Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach. And since then, she has been improving slowly but surely.
Now that the time is ripe, this Lucbanin should be ready to widen her pageant horizons. And if shoes to fill are to be specified, then she could be the next big thing to happen to Quezon Province after Bb. Pilipinas International 2018 and Miss International 2018 1st Runner-Up Ma. Ahtisa Manalo.
If you’re looking for someone beautiful, fresh and intelligent (with the right amount of street smarts sprinkled for good measure), then Pat Babista is definitely one to watch out for in 2020!
