The Binibinis visit David’s Salon Headquarters

As exclusively covered by normannorman.com earlier, the Binibinis of Bb. Pilipinas 2018 had their annual Sponsor Visit at David’s Salon Headquarters in Makati City with Owner/CEO Sir David Charlton and the entire Head Office Personnel who warmly welcomed everyone.

A Holy Mass started it all at 10am to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the DSI Building, followed by a short program. Everyone was brought to the Penthouse where lunch was served courtesy of Union Jack Tavern. Immediately after, there were photo ops with all the employees before the traditional pampering of all the ladies which included back massages, foot spa/reflexology and mani/pedi/nail gel services that really relaxed our beauties.

    1. Catriona Grey- Is on top of her game. The former international Top model, Miss World Philippines and Miss World TOP5 finisher is a clear deadringer of former BBP-Universe Lalaine Bennet who back then could’ve won Miss Universe with a better answer in the Q&A instead she ended up as 3rd runner-up… Cat’s effervescent personality, excellent comskills and extensive line-up of advocacies makes her a shoo-in for any crown but hopefull not BBP-international which could be the thoughest crown to win because we just won twice in less than 5 years. Would history repeat itself or would the pageant darling end up with the top prize which is our 4th Miss Universe crown?

    2. Aya Abesamis- She continiously proves herself as a very desserving heir to her mother, Desiree Verdadero’s legacy as a former Miss Universe 3rd RUp… With her excellent comskills, top model skills remeniscent of her mother’s signature poses and her gorgeous styling that evokes Mirriam Quiambao, MU 1st RUp and Maxene Medina, MU Top 6, would she be able to snatch the BBP-Universe crown from Cat and surpass her mother’s placement at MU?

    3. Muriell Orais- Recent interviews showed that she has greatly improved compared her past reign as Miss Earth- water 2011, Miss Olive-C Campus model and basketball courtside reporter … Her modeling skills are also always spot-on but would the star flight-attendant meet the expectations of her superiors as the only employee representative of one of the major sponsors of BBP and beat the other front-runners for the top prize?

    4. Michelle Gumabao- The volleyball superstar, commercial model, consistent dean’s lister and former PPB-housemate has Showbiz running in her veins. Being the daughter, sister, niece of cousin of Actors, models, politician and former BBP-titleholder, we all have high expectations for this public figure. I know she could rock an Irene Esser look and eat the microphone in one gulp… She definitely has the blessing of the pageant’s partner TV network being one of their high potential but would her father’s infamy prevent her from getting the Top prize?

    5. Wynonah Buot- Everyone thinks that the beautifull former Miss CEBU comes from humble origins but she is in-fact a grand-daughter of a former town Mayor descended from pre-colonial warlords of Cebu… She has the best academic credentials among the front-runners and her multi-lingual comskills could be her best asset. Problem is her blood-relation to our current president which is a double-edged sword.. She could be favored by Miss Universe Org but would our local major sponsors allow her to win the national title? She may give the best answer among the TOP 15 but would it be enough for her to win the top prize?

    6. Hence there is only 1 crown left for the final set of winners… and it could be given to any of the following girls:

  3. I like Aya’s quiet confidence . I doubt she will deliver at Q&A well enough to win MUP.

    Still Cat for MUP. I hope she does her homework before finals night.
    I can’t see Buot from the pics above but she’s also my bet.
    My other bets include Karen Sandra and Ajami ( I also doubt she will do well at Q&A , matigas ang dila sobra)
    Orais is a stand out above . She may get a crown .
    And Michelle … hope she she sheds off some weight .

      • Actually , I have no doubt at all that Ajami will not do well at Q&A. She had even trouble delivering memorized lines . With Aya, it all depends on the question. I think if she plays safe like her mom did during her time , she’ll prob be ok.
        And what abt Cat ? She’s only 24. Who knows, she might get a question
        She has no idea answering .. like What happened to MIss Thailand Earth 2018 and Miss Thailand Universe 2017. Hope she studies previous editions to gain the needed confidence .

    • @Fabian minsan lang ako mag comment. I saw meow and she really needs to lose weight. She needs to lose at least 10kg.mas healthy looking pa si gumabao. Cat was my mup. Hindi bobilya yun nagpataba

      • @Fabian I should know coz ka height at body frame ko si cat now minus the bobilya and I have 2 tween. cat is bordering ruffa g. But ruffa g have lorin and venice and ruffa g is at her 40s Cat should lose 10kg 22lbs. Did you notice how she always angle for a pic. At least the gumabao girl are muscles.
        I love meow but we can’t be all praises . May time pa naman mag crash diet. Kaya pala pantay comment ni Gloria.

  8. There’s something very baduy and old fashioned with eva’s Styling . Athisa’s face is so common in the west. She’s standing out only because she is so fair and caucasoid loooking .IT’S STILL CAT’s CORONATION PARTY IN MARCH!

  23. ..after seeing these girls in photos for 3 weeks now, I can say that half of the group are really just fillers..i am sure there are a lot of other potential candidates who possess really beautiful faces matched with above average height..sana parang sea games din o Olympics.. Develop potential candidates at the grass root level.. Parang sa ms Colombia, smaller group pero lahat me laban.. Maganda kc sa paningin pag ganun.. Wla nakasira sa view.. Talgang masabi mu, beauty pageant ito.. At hindinkung anu anu pa.. Quizbee pageant, brainy pageant, ms masipag pageant etc.

      • Veks yes those are sponsors and yes they give money to BbP charities. And it is not my business to question BbP. Nobody has raised an eyebrow against them so I would take that they are doing a fine job as a charitable organization.

        Also, running a pageant is costlier than you think. From transportation, to hotel accommodation food etc and also production. Sometimes, sponsorship may not be even enough to cover the entire cost.

        What bothers me is that SMA remains very active in BbP. Who will be her successor in the future??? Lola Jonas? hihihihi

    • Honestly ayoko din nyang shirts na yan. Nothing wrong with recycling pero sana iba yung kulay. Ang cheep tingnan nung orange pink at lalo na yung green. I wish sana laging white top na lang pero iba iba ng cut para kahit recycled at least mukhang malinis at sossy. maganda rin yung violet na ginamit nila sa pictorial. Pero ayun sana lagi na lang white or dark blue siguro
