I’m sure the name and face is quite familiar to you by now. And yes, she has already joined a couple of our local beauty contests. But this time around, Ferina de Paz of Muntinlupa City is all set to represent the Philippines as one of two country bets (along with Guillen Diaz) in Miss ASEAN 2014 which has been set for Chiang Rai, Thailand from December 25-31, 2014.
Some of you might recall the regional competition as the one participated in by MJ Lastimosa and Marie-Ann Umali back in 2012. While a string of doubts were raised about the way the whole contest was handled by the Thai organizers in the past, things might have already improved by now. After all, they need to preserve the brand name.
