I’m quite picky with the animated movies to watch. For the past few years, I can count in one hand the ones I thoroughly enjoyed. Aside from the Hazao Miyazaki flicks, I can add “Up” and “Ratatouille”. The Shrek series belongs to the group as well. I love it when the plot is targetted for appreciation by people of all ages and not just for kids. Now that the final installment will open on May 21, I am blogging about “Shrek Forever After” because – based from the trailer alone – this one is going to be a fun and ogre-big of a blockbuster. What’s nice is that the voice cast has remained the same from the very start and got complemented with worthy additions along the way. Take a look at the list: Mike Myers as Shrek, Eddie Murphy as Donkey, Cameron Diaz as Princess Fiona, Antonio Banderas as Puss in Boots, Julie Andrews as Queen, John Cleese as King, Jane Lynch as Gretched and Craig Robinson as Cookie. Why, even Morning News Anchor Meredith Viera has joined the group as the Broomsy Witch!
