The organizers of Miss Supranational are simplifying the webcast of its 2016 Finals. Just visit its Facebook page at 8:00PM CET (Central European Time) of December 2 or exactly 3:00AM of December 3 here in Manila where they will do Facebook Live of the proceedings straight from Hotel Krynica in Krynica-Zdrój, Poland.

I know that, inspite of the sleeping hours in the Philippines, most of us will be awake to catch the show and see who will succeed Stephania Stegman of Paraguay. Hopefully, it will be our very own Joanna Eden.

  1. Hi everyone. I am very disappointed in the top 25 placement of Joanna. I feel like she definitely is capable of cracking the top 10 at least but we all know what happened. She had no energy on stage. Her mannerisms are very off on stage (clapping through her legs while the top 10 was being announced). She just didn’t seem to feel the energy or the engagement or the competitiveness. Look at Vietnam and the rest of the girls . Rampa to the max. The fact that Sri Lanka and Myanmar edged us out says something about this pageant. I’m so disappointed because she has the x-factor to deliver but failed to deliver at the right moment. Now we move on to Miss World. Let’s all support Catriona, let’s not be caught up fighting with other fans but instead just keep on supporting her with social media votes etc. We can’t be too complacent anymore. Every competition is one big fight knowing that our “frenemies” want us down.

    The Binibini class of 2016 are on a roll. Top 25 finish is not bad at all. You have worn the Philippine sash with so much pride and honor.

  5. Almost back 2 back for India…. Based on the finalist/Top 10 of the past 7 years that aside from eastern European contestants, they seem to favor countries with Indo-Aryan-Dravidian heritage: India, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Indonesia…. Even the African and South American contestants like Venezuela sends girls of the same origins… ex. Venezuela – Laksmi Rodriguez… Not to mention, our past winner Mutya Datul has a bit of ancient Indian heritage and features. Her name itself is of Malay-Sanskrit origins…

    Therefore, I conclude that we need to send a sexy energetic graceful charming seductive dynamic girl with a great personality and some semblance to Indian and Eastern European heritage… May it be evident in her features or origins. Dindi Pajares may avenge us BUT the one who could possibly bring back the crown could be a south Asian-Eastern European beauty like Nicole Scherzinger (Nicole Valiente -Dad is Ilokano & mom is Russian/Hawaiian), a dusky version of Dawn Zulueta (Visayan and Arab) or darker Megan Young (Visayan and mixed English/Polish ancestry). It’s funny that coincidentaly sexy Megan Young- who can sing dance and act would win this pageant with a landslide… Her Q&A /Hosting skill would be wasted in this conpetition though.

  11. Why do I feel na gustong magbalik eksena nitong India sa pageant world? The noise usually starts sa minor pageants, db? They now have Globe and Supra- at sunod2x talaga ha! Yung sa Miss World na candidate nila, may ibubuga din, in fairness.

    Next time pakidagdagan po ang veneers. Yong lampas labi na. Mukhang kulang kasi kaya bitin tuloy ang mga judges.

    Finally saw her wearing her natcos. Hinde naman kalakihan pero special entrance sya. Mas may malaki pang natcos kesa kanya aside from india. Feeling ko that time special sila ni india at may something na mapatop 5 sila. Since special entrance sila. Pero si india lang pala.
    Upon calling semi finalist i dunno if pasok talaga sya sa semis or dahil sa likes kaya sya nakapasok. She was called 4th yata or 5th and usually if fanvote. Etc sa huli tinatawag diba? Pero still happy pa rin she made it sa semis at nakita natin syang rumampa. Its good pa rin kahit papano nakkta natin sya. What disappointed me and made me so so guilty is the cameraman.hinde nakita rampa nya sa white gown. Kainis. Ginawang pang concert ang camera nya. Lol. Sa sports wear naman. Para syang nahihiya. Kulang sa energy. Stamina. Ok din ang plano nyang gawin don rarampa tapos igagalaw na naman ang ulo. Kaya lang hinde nya naperform ng maayos..dapat rampadora sya, malakas energy.stamina. Kahit simple lang basta feel natin sya. Sexy innocent moves basta feel mo from head to toe. Si sri lanka simple lang ginawa nya pero feel mo sya. Ma spark sya and her smile damn. Yun ang wala ni joanna.
    Para syang nahihiya and its true nga hirap sya sa veneers nya. Jusko. Wala masama sa veneers pero wag naman ka sobrahan. Nasa isip ko. Maling pageant sya napunta or maling training ang itinuro sa kanya at may kulang.
    Dapat talaga bukod ng pageant ang supra sa bbp. Ibigay nalang sa iba franchise. Para mas mapili ng maayos ung dapat para sa supra. Para magawa nila ung mga nagagawa sa supra para pag nasa supra na ung pambato may idea sya at alam nya gagawin nya. Iba kase ang supra. Hinde mas mapipile ng mas maayos kung isasama sa bbp. Madami din kase title. Iba iba ng hanap bawat title. Kung merong pang supra na sumali 1 or 2 lang pero ligwak sa bbp at ibinigay sa hinde supra calibre anh title. That time si dindi talaga nakita ko pang supra. Sinuwerte lang tayo kay mutya. Shes independent right? Talo pa nya mga camp na nag train sa mga naging pambato natin after her. Unlike kung bukod sya ng pageant. At least ung mga kandidata pang supra ang performance nilang lahat Pipiliin nalang kung sino the best. Or kung isasama pa rin. Well. I train nalang ng maayos kung sino manalo sa bbp supranational. Si wyn wyn pwede din.
    The supra show this year is better than before. The best. So far supra ang una sa list ko in terms of stage production and lighting, nice songs too.
    The winners are deserving. 4 out of 5 tama ko. Hungary surpised me. I thought its between venenzuela and suriname. Congrats to all of them

    Now supra is over. Walang lutong nangyari.

    We are now in the next pageant….Miss World… Good Luck!

    All that scheming, backbiting and backstabbing with Thai and Indonesian fans combined to sabotage Joanna’s on-line voting kind of worked.

    Indonesia was thd wild card BUT did not make the top 5.
    Thailand did not even make the top 25. Oh well…

    • It was Miss Intercontinental.She was Miss Earth Hungary.She refused because she already represented Hungary in a MAJOR PAGEANT.So,in live TV she resigned after her name called in a minor pageant title.

    • Yan talaga ang kulang. Dba sila din nagpadala aa supra last year. KF din. Wala yata na learned ang camp nila on how to win supra. No question sa age nya. Ive seen few young girls who compete internationally pero may buhay ang performance. Training lang ang sagot. Kung si mutya independent nagawa nya. Yeah may nag train din at tumulong kay mutya pero kung icompare mo sa camp nila joanna waley ang kf. Nung 2014 aces ang nagpadala right? Si yveth ligwak din. Sana may natutunan din ang aces sa supra. Im sure nanood sila ng finals kanina kahit sa fb lang. Para ng sa ganon alam nila kung sino ang isasabak sa bbp fof supra at alam nila gagawin nila. Aces has learned their lesson sa MI after bianca failed. Hinde din kase pang MI ang ginawa nya kahit sabihin nating ligwak sya dahil ayaw ng japan ng b2b. Pamg MU ang ginawa nya but this year they did it right and perfect on kylie.

There are 71 candidates in a very competitive group, and there is no clear standout. Davena Reeves, a former Miss New York USA, will host the show for the second year in a row. For the first time, Miss Supranational will have 25 quarter-finalists, 10 semi-finalists and 5 finalists. The winner will win a US$ 30.000 cash-prize and will travel the world promoting the contest and its motto: “Beauty Unites the World”.
