Yvethe (right) with Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Datul

image Miss Philippines Yvethe Santiago was finally issued her official Philippine sash for Miss Supranational 2014. And she also got to bond a little with the reigning title holder Mutya Datul during one of the photoshoots.

It appears to me that Yvethe is getting particularly chummy with the European candidates of the competition. And that could be the basis of a good game plan, if you ask me. I believe she is close to the host delegate as well.

By the way, the online voting for Miss Supranational 2014 starts today (Polish time) where you can cast your votes for Yvethe or your other favorite candidates.

  3. Guys, uso ba ang leopard print this year? Parang lahat ng kandidata sa lahat ng beauty pageants, may baong leopard printed na item. 😀

  4. Her face has a VERY strong presence. It’s hard to explain… But she stands out in almost every picture. I’m not even bias at all. But she is really a stand out.

    I don’t expect her to win… Given Philippines already won last year and this pageant is very new… The possibility of a winner from the same country is slim to none…I am still rooting for her… I just think the odds are against her. Sucha shame. Yvethe is really deserving.

    • Yep, agree with you, but still if ma prove niya talaga sa judges na deserving uli ang PH, then why not right?

  12. Ok— this is why Mutya is MS!!! Look at that face — the eyes, the nose, the lips… beautiful!

    Yvethe on the other hand—— IS BACK WITH HER OLD NOSE! I have to believe her now that she NEVER HAD ANY SURGERY before Binibini…. Man, her nose seems to have a mind of its own, it grows and it shrinks without notice hahahaha

  14. NAKAKAINIS YANG SELFIE NIYA! ang ganda. nyeta. haha nanunumbalik ang pag cheer ko sakanya para sa MUP.. but moving on.. and I can really feel that Mutya is rooting for Yvethe discreetly. hay! I have high hopes for her, not because bet na bet ko siya or what, kasi alam nating strong contender talaga siya, but I am not expecting anything, I’ll just pray that she gets what is really for her.. 😀

    • Yes, Yvethe is sooo MU material. hay. but anyway, I don’t think naman MS is competing with ME. it’s MGI talaga ang nanghahamon sa Big 4 e..

  16. Nag try na sana ako mag vote hindi pa pala open. At least yung site na yun may disclaimer na parang maka kuha ng votes makaka pasok sa semis. Di tulad nung isa na naloka ako kaka vote hindi pala guaranteed na pasok.

  17. The sincerity and genuine hope of Mutya for Yvethe’s success is very clear in this picture. Something about her smile was never on the face of Bea when she was with Bianca. And with her not being part of the judging panel, it looks more credible for Yvethe to succeed on her own. Don’t you agree Norman?

    • nakaka dala rin kase yung smile ni mutya eh no? ang totoo nagagandahan din ako kay bea pero may pagka distant yung aura nya for me.

    • AGREE!!! I could imagine Mutya having tears of Joy if Yvette wins. Parang mga Venezuelans and Indians when they achieved back to back victories in MU and MW. Pero si Bea??? Nakuuu….😤

      • hahaha naiimagine ko si Mutya “Be!! nanalo ka be!!” haha cute siguro nila.. well, ayoko mag expect, pero pag iniisip ko na mangyayari yung mga ganung bagay, kinikilabutan ako,. hindi ako mag eexpect, pero pagdarasal ko si Yvethe 🙂

      • @ Mr. Manila oo tama! Naiimagine ko rin sya gagawa nun. Naiimagine ko sya magsalita ng “Beh”….hindi ko ma articulate eh pero ramdam na ramdam mo sincerity nya. Si Bea kase yung fez till now nagagandahan ako pero parang may anggulo na hindi mo mabibiro. Is it just me pero na fe-feel ko sa kanya parang alpha highschool kid na magsasabi “you can’t sit with us”….I’m sure she’s a nice girl din naman pero somehow she does not project warmth.

    • I agree with you, Franco. Simula TV guestings and photos nila sa IG, i don’t feel that Bea wants Bianca to win the crown. From her IG posts, mas nararamdaman ko ang pagka bet niya for Miss Canada, which is her friend also. well, I wonder what Bea did or said to Bianca after the pageant mismo.

    • Marami pala tayo nakakaramdam ng kakaibang ugali ni Bea. Feeling ko talaga mababa ang scores na binigay nya kay Bianca. I can’t see any sincerity on her face. I dunno why, I don’t want to be judgemental pero ami in natin di talaga tayo umasa na mananalo sa MI si Bea last year. Pati yung issue ni Janine at Venus kay MJ sya nagstart magppst nun sa FB nya simula nun nagduda na ko sa kanya.
