The first time I heard and read about Gouldian Atelier, I had no idea what they were up to. But weeks and months have passed, and I learned soon enough that they were involved in the training of the candidates of Miss Globe Myanmar 2014 in Yangon last March. Soon after, the eventual winner (Jue San Thar) was sent to the Philippines with Miss Asia Pacific World Myanmar 2014 May Myat Noe (who is now making waves in Seoul) for a three-week intensive transformation that would help them shine better in their respective international assignments. The group – made up of Pawee Ventura, Macoy Manlapaz and Mario Angelo Bergantinos among others – has slowly eased itself into making our country a budding training hub for Asian beauty queens. Moreover, they have also networked in Latin America where the winner of Miss Grand Panama 2014 will also spend five days here under their supervision.
And the word of mouth must have been quite positive that they already have their next big mission in line. Nawat Itsaragrisil, President of Miss Grand Thailand and Miss Grand International, has already commissioned them to do the pageant coaching and polishing for the five (5) winners of Miss Grand Thailand 2014* who will represent the Land of Smiles in Miss Grand International, Miss Earth, Miss Supranational, Miss Intercontinental and Miss Tourism International. Whew! This is going to be one big breakthrough project for Gouldian Atelier without a doubt.
This early, I am doffing my hat to the people behind Gouldian Atelier. Keep up the good work and more power! 😀
* P.S. Macoy Manlapaz will be in Bangkok, Thailand next month to serve as one of the judges in Miss Grand Thailand 2014.
