  1. This is her 1st day as Supra, and her 2nd day is 3 months after that 1st day.
Tipid tipid ang Supra pag may time.

  2. Just like Megan Young, She can really pull my heart strings. No matter how much I love all our queens, its stilll a battle of the best of the best and this girl definitely deserves to win any pageant.

  3. Norman, would you know what’s keeping Miss Supranational from being considered as a grandslam pageant by most international experts and pundits – aside from it being relatively new, that is? In terms of participation of countries and lavish production, it easily trounces the likes of Miss International and our very own Miss Earth. Such makes Mutya’s victory even more of a reason to celebrate.

    • Other than being just a relative newbie among the pageants we have, I think it’s also the lack of comparative amount of hype and promotions online and otherwise. If not for the Philippines winning the title this year, everything about it will have been just a random memory by now. The shout-outs for Miss Grand International were far more effective. 😉

      • I agree with you, Norman. I didn’t even know that this pageant existed until our Queen Mutya won!

  4. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with Mutya’s accommodations there. It looks like a decent hotel room, and it seemed big enough for all her things. In terms of the activities, the contestants toured and visited sites around the Minsk area. While it’s not Las Vegas, I’m sure that pageant sponsors had to have their 15 seconds of fame, too, and were probably included in the scheduled visits to their production sites. I applaud the Miss Supra Organization for putting out a high caliber pageant, and I can only see it getting better over the years.

I really have such a soft spot for Mutya. (I’m not comparing Megan and Bea to her.) I just think there’s such an aura of innocence and humility to Mutya. She was the first to go and compete internationally, and she really set the benchmark for all the gals who came after her. I never tire of her beauty, her smile, and how she represents our country so elegantly.

I’m thankful, Norms, that you chose to showcase her again today. Hindi ako nagsasawa sa mga articles na tungkol sa kanya.

    • Let me add also that one factor that their activities might not be let’s say at par with other pageants that we’re quite used to is probably the weather too.

  5. It is really hard to judge a book by its cover. Whilst the production of Miss Supranational Finals may have over staged all the pageants this year, the accommodation and activities they have provided its participants are way below my expectation or the standards of MW, MU and MI. At least they should have transferred the winner to a better room with a Queen or King bed.

After watching Aga’s travelogue featuring Mutya’s humble abode, I can’t help but imagine her winning Miss World because she really has the qualities that Julia Morley is really looking for in her queen. Aaah… just me with my wild imagination.

    • @Dexter Co
Pooooossshhhhhh na yan, lets look for a girl whose humble life will dramatically rewarded and change, someone that truly loves helping her town mates or provincial locals in improving their life.
Emphasis on ADVOCACY, a selfless beauty, beauty scouts should be on the look out now and suyurin ang buong Pilipinas…
