  1. She is beautiful. She is a stand out. She is elegant. She is queenly. She is the best in this batch.

  2. By the way, I got friends from Poland and most of them are attracted to tanned girls. Yvethe looks caucasian when she wears makeup and her complexion still is too white. Sana nagpatan siya ng bongga like Ariella.

  3. Yvethe is pretty, but she isn’t a standout. The music is too upbeat for her dress. I wished she danced her way through to compensate the lack of life of that dress. It’s pretty but not for this kind of event.

I can’t help but imagine what Mutya would have done–dance her way gracefully with a really big smile.

Still I can see Yvethe exert effort. Not a bad performance.

    • That’s what i’ve been sayin since the finals of Binibini. They shouldve sent parul to poland instead of yvethe and let the latter join next year. BPCI just wasted another decent candidate. Tatlo na. Parul for making her the sacrificial lamb, bianca whom they sent to a suicide mission and now yvethe.

      • Yvethe is really fitted for supranational nothing more (in my opinion) if she send to MU for sure parang Bianca Manalo lang sasapitin nyo… MU want a woman that can sell everything….

  4. She’s the top pick sa latest hot pick of Misso! Sooo happy! Go lang ng go Yvethe. 🙂

  5. She nailed this one. I was initially disappointed when I saw her first picture of the NatCos, but upon watching the video, I am convinced that she really carried the gown well. Yes it was a simple gown, but she carried it with so much grace and elegance. Splendid!!

  6. And now for my “not so good” comment:
In many of her photos, Yvethe was able to project herself well…she deserves a sincere “Congratulations” !
Her performance as captured in motion picture (video), however, is a different story! For sure there are some precious moments wherein she is really captivating. Some, though, are falling short. Her performance on the ramp for parading her NatCos is a big disappointment…it was dull, out-of-sync, forgettable. Most of the audience didn’t even bother to take another glimpse of her when she passed by…a few gave a lazy clap.
Please don’t blame the music…don’t blame the stage. All the candidates were parading in an upbeat music and on a narrow stage. These two elements will not adjust to each candidate’s costume and movement…it is the candidate who should be able to adapt. Many were surprisingly able to jibe.
“Let’s get loud” — the booming sound of the music was inviting…the tempo called for celebration…”Let’s get loud” – repeatedly persuading the models to shout-out proudly their NatCos…It was not a fashion show…it was a parade that showcased Nationalism and Pride. It was a call to wear jubilantly the colors of one’s nation…it was not a walk to impress the people of the world of who is “pa-cute”!

    • I get your point, but hindi mo ba alam na hindi pang Let’s get loud ang Filipiniana or terno?

“It has been connected to the María Clara character because of her traits: delicate, feminine, self-assured and with a sense of identity.”

Delicate, Feminine.. then why party party with the music? have you ever seen someone wearing a filipiniana dancing or ramping into that tune? di ba nga mostly ng filipiniana may pamaypay? para mahinhin, mayumi, dalisay.

      • If our candidate has no ability to adapt then she does not deserve of the crown…and by the way, to hell with the “pa-virgin-effect!”… Manirahan na lang ang Maria Clara mo sa Bahay Kubo…doon sya nababagay! Bwahahaha!

    • Agree…out of sync sa tugtug ung strides nya…at ung pose nya sa dulo, anu un? Ung pilantik ng arms at daliri nya anu un? Clapper.

    • Benji, Yvethe’s brand is a modern educated Filipina who will stop at nothing to achieve her dreams but still possesses a specific set of values. She won’t change for you and your shenanigans. NatCos disappointing what the eff are you talking about? She was a performer.

You called her modeling dull, out-of-sync and forgettable. Dull? I don’t think so. Forgettable? I could still remember her walk. And how she effortlessly paraded her National Costume without looking so cheap. And out of sync? You know nothing about modeling. Try watching fashion shows first from Paris and see whether the girls there are in sync with the music. I mean just observe first before blabbering things.

And please do not give any meaning as to why they used that music, they utilized that because that’s only what Miss Supranational could afford.

NICE TRY FOR YOUR FALLACIOUS STATEMENTS.
I CAN’T WAIT FOR YOUR NEXT ANNOUNCEMENT OF MISTAKEN BELIEFS.

      • C2F, kalmado na ako. Haha. Yeah, the National Costume itself could have been better pero wala atang sinabi sa instructions ng Miss Supra na ganung music ang gagamitin. Ang nasabi ata, basta for Fashion Show. At least naitawid niya si Maria Clara sa saliw ng tugtuging Let’s Get Loud. 😀

      • Ok na yan… matalino si Yvethe… alam nya na ganyan music during rehearsal but she did not change outfits because she knows its her way to standout… Remember during the pageant of Lara Quigaman the opening number was slutty dancing in swimsuits but she was told by Gloria Diaz to never show the gap between her legs in front of anyone… She changed the choreo and so she stood out… the rest is pageant history…

      • @whateveryournameis: If that is Yvethe’s brand for you, then, she just didn’t sell…she’s a big FLOP in the Parade of the Nation…I didn’t see a modern educated Filipina there! What I saw is a “pa-tweetums, pa-virginal na may twist na maka-baklang pilantik. She might be a performer – but her performance on that particular activity was “pa-cute”…yanahwaameen?
Ok now, I will be in the very first flight going to Paris (willing to endure the third-rate service of Charles de Gaulle) if you can tell what venue will showcase a Parade of the Nation…I am even willing to go to Milan, New York, London, Tokyo, etc if collections of NatCos from all over the world are in showcase. O well, there might be one in Moulin Rouge – but that is another story, LOL!

    • Yvethe should have a festival alternative for this event instead of that mediochre filipiniana… that would have been more apropriate. But still, not conforming to the slutty looking majority, she stood out. If the effects are good or bad… i totally have no idea!

  7. Waley yan…she has the will 2 win but not the beauty..distracting ung pointed nose nya..pangalawa, flat ang facial structure nya, parang ai ai..

  8. Oh no mali ang suot nya para dito, I think BPCI must give her a national costume na variable knowing na ang supranational ay more on runway fashion hindi lang basta terno.

  9. Unfortunately they have a different taste that is the reason why she didn’t win this event. Hope she will win the crown.

    • What?!.. Their looking for a slutty tease with waxed nook and crannies this year?

  10. Ang chi cheap, ano ba yang music na over. Buti nalang Yvethe was able to still walk and act classy. Pag hindi sya nag win, hindi nya fault. It is because she is too good for this pageant, sa totoo lang.

    • shet pak na oak ang SMIZE! ganda ng neckline na ganun sa shoulders nya and neck…i lhaaaaaavvvve it!!!!!!!!!!

  11. Anu ba yun…sorry kababayan kita Zandra pero ka-cheapan! Meron bang malaks ang ingay sa labas ng website na to? Kase nakikita ko even with her disco ball terno sya pa rin pinaka classy sa lahat. Cheap cheap nung iba kaloka.

  12. Modesty aside Yvethe was the only one that caught my attention simply because of how classy and regal she walked that runway.

  13. did anyone notice how many candidates walk like they work in a girly bar ( the one where men go to)

  14. Without a doubt, Yvethe is a very beautiful lady. Awesome looking, her aura screams “the crown is mine!”

  15. The music is a complete mismatch and that terno is below the caliber I got accustomed to but she is the most classy looking contestant on that runway… And again as always, her styling neck up is a winner. Everyone else screams whoaaaaa…. LOL 😀

  16. ganda ng aura niya.. wala pa akong nakikitang photos na medyo di ko nagustuhan. plakadong plakado.

parang Pakbet! Pak na Pak, Bet na Bet. LOL

  17. Yvethe looks fabulous in the third photo — that’s a sure winning stance. Credit also goes to the photographer — job well done! That picture can paint a thousand “positive” words…can even sail a million ships, LOL.
(I’ll reserve my not so good comment for later posting, hehehe)
