Hazel has already represented the Philippines in two international competitions. Is she ready for Bb. Pilipinas? (Photo credits: Ross Paris, Edmund Chua and JR Noses)
Interestingly, dusky Pinay beauty Hazel Ortiz has already worn the Philippine sash in two international competitions abroad the past few years. After she reigned as Slimmers World Miss Bikini Philippines 2014, she went on to Long Beach, California to participate in the WCOPA2015 in the female model category. Last year, she flew to Cape Town, South Africa where she was Miss Philippines during World Supermodel 2016. Both experiences gave her the polish and confidence to face up to bigger challenges in the pageant big league. Bb. Pilipinas, that is.
Will Hazel be one of the ladies trooping to the BPCI Office at the Araneta Coliseum on or before the February 24 deadline? I’m inclined to believe she is. And wouldn’t it be nice to have a smoldering hot beauty like her in this year’s roster?
Your thoughts, dear readers? 🙂
PS. Happy Valentine’s Day to all!

World Supermodel Philippines 2016 Hazel Ortiz is now in South Africa to represent the country in World Supermodel 2016. She is currently enjoying the sights and sounds of Johannesburg and taking in as much of the culture (like a visit to the Apartheid Museum) as she can before finally buckling up for the business at hand. She is taking this opportunity to get the precious international exposure and possibly open new doors to her entry into the busier world of modeling abroad.
Surely, Hazel will still consider Bb. Pilipinas. Next year, perhaps? For now, she wants to do the country proud by becoming the eventual winner of the contest scheduled for March 21 in Bloemfontain.
Give them your A-game, Hazel! 😉
Hazel Ortiz will represent the Philippines in World Supermodel 2016
For those wondering why Hazel Ortiz did not sign up for Bb. Pilipinas 2016, here is the answer. Opportunities of representing our country abroad do not come often, so when the chance to travel to South Africa for World Supermodel 2016 beckoned, the answer almost came naturally for her.
