Here are some photos from the very first Press Conference of the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 winners with members of the media held at the Casa Buenas Fil-Spanish Restaurant inside Hotel Okura at the Newport Grand Wing of Resorts World Manila.

Everyone invited was in awe of the five Queens who graced the event. But no more than Beatrice Luigi Gomez who charmed guests with her manner of speaking and well-prepared answers. Her intensive training for Miss Universe will start November 1 under the combined guidance of Jonas Gaffud and Voltaire Tayag.

Posted @withregram • @victoriavelasquezvincent Shortly after the MUPH coronation night, I was offered to be Miss Universe New Zealand 2021.

After a week of contemplation, countless discussions with my family, friends and team, I eventually came to the decision to politely decline the offer.

So many people will say I’m crazy for turning down this opportunity, but I had to choose what I know in my heart was the right thing to do.

My heart is, and always will be here to serve the Philippines. Some may say I’m not Filipina enough, and that’s ok.

I know who I am.
I know what I stand for.
I am a Filipina.

Thank you to the MUNZ org for your kindness. I am endlessly grateful that you had faith in me and offered me the opportunity of a lifetime 🇳🇿

Thank you to the MUPH org for offering your support regardless of what I decided to do 🇵🇭

Having just finished watching the Swimsuit and Evening Gown Preliminaries of Miss Universe Philippines 2021, I came up with three constants. These are the three Finalists who – in my eyes – performed best in both segments. They are Beatrice Luigi Gomez of Cebu City, Izabella Jasmine Umali of Manila and Katrina Dimaranan of Taguig. In swimsuits, the quartet is completed by Mirjan Hipolito of Angeles. And in evening gowns, Leren Mae Bautista of Laguna fills the last quadrant.

The turns given by Beatrice Luigi in Furne Amato Izabella Jasmine Umali in Nat Manilag and Katrina Dimaranan in Martin Bautista were memorable.

Overall, I give kudos as well to Chella Falconer, Maureen Wroblewitz, Victoria Velasquez Vincent, Steffi Aberasturi and Janela Cuaton.

Tomorrow, the #phenomenalwomen of Miss Universe Philippines 2021 will depart for Bohol to start the final leg of their journey to the #Filipina crown.

Let us wish all of them the best of health and stamina. The next five (5) days will prove to be most crucial for everyone, including the organization and the production team.

I concur with almost your comments regarding the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Tourism Videos. They are all winners. And the respective LGUs should be grateful for their efforts. There is nothing like a phenomenal woman inviting local and foreign tourists to visit the places they represent.

With this in mind, allow me to share my personal favorites – videos which effortlessly tell me to visit or re-visit.

From Luzon: Laguna (visually grabbing) and Angeles City (excellent script and narration)

Honorable mentions: Pangasinan and Cavite

From NCR: Taguig City (she simply knows how to project herself to the camera and sell the city with ease) and Mandaluyong City (the concept of transforming the old joke associated with the place to a warm welcome to come inside is heartwarming)

Honorable mention: Manila (if not for the unsteady camera at times, I would be sold)

From the Visayas: Cebu Province (story-telling Tourism at its finest) and Iloilo City (the clever parallelism between the candidate and her rise to become a Beauty Queen)

Honorable mention: Cebu City (less of Luigi and more of the city could have made a big difference in the good effort of promoting it)

From Mindanao: Cagayan de Oro City (the fun and upbeat vibe is inviting) and Misamis Oriental (you can tell that the entire video received the full assistance and support of the LGU)

Honorable mention: Bukidnon (great cinematography and horse-riding from the candidate)

After weeks of virtual challenges, social media promotions and controversial app voting, the original cast of 100 Official Delegates – after two stages of 75 and 50 – have now been further trimmed down to the Final 30 Official Candidates who will vie in the last segment of Miss Universe Philippines 2021. One of them will win the crown on September 25 and represent the country in Miss Universe to be held in Eilat, Israel this coming December.
