We can now catch various shots of Miss Philippines MJ Lastimosa online.
During her gown photoshoot for the 63rd Miss Universe Pageant, she was clicked and sighted with the stylists, including half-Filipina Fame Tabares and the other professionals of OP Make-up Studio.
I am hoping to see much more of her in the hours ahead. Our girl is really making heads turn in Doral Miami. And some people there are even saying that she looks more like 21 than 27. 😉

No MJ Lastimosa yet, but the release of the initial poolside swimsuit photos of some of the 63rd Miss Universe Pageant delegates means that the fever is really on!
The setting is the Trump National Doral Miami which is one of two Official Residences (the other one being Intercontinental Hotel at Doral Miami) of the ladies.
Watch out for more! 😀

By now, Miss Universe Philippines 2014 is already aboard her Philippine Airlines flight going to Los Angeles where, after a few hours of layover, she will connect with another plane that will bring her to the destination of her dreams, Miami. From there, she will head straight to Doral to check in at the Trump National Doral Miami to start the journey to the Philippines’ 3rd Miss Universe crown.
We can only wish you the very best of luck, MJ!

From January 4-27, 2015, the delegates arriving for the 63rd Miss Universe Pageant will be housed in two (2) different accommodations and locations while in Doral Miami for the entirety of the competition. Upon official arrivals on January 4, check-in will be at the Trump National Doral Miami where the ladies will be unpacking their luggage for a stay of thirteen (13) nights before they start packing once more on the 17th as they head over to the Hotel InterContinental at Doral Miami where the eighty-eight Misses have been reserved for a total of ten (10) nights, covering the finals on January 25, with an extra day to enjoy the property after the crowning.
From January 4-17, check-in will be at Trump National Doral Miami
From January 17, the ladies will move in to Hotel InterContinental at Doral Miami and stay there till the 27th.
Now I have not personally experienced yet the kind of service Trump Hotel Collection (as well as their Trump Card Privileges) can offer, but being a Platinum Ambassador member of the InterContinental Hotels‘ IHG Rewards Club, I can vouch for the absolute hospitality and refinement of the global chain when it comes to the pampering of guests.
Let’s hope that both properties will live up to their individual reputations. 😉

And just to complete the post, the hosts of the 63rd Miss Universe Pageant are comebacking (from MU2013) Thomas Roberts and Mel B.

I love it that the web admins of our favorite beauty pageant are very active nowadays. The updates are becoming more frequent. Aren’t you happy? 😉
Trump National Doral Miami will be the venue of the Finals of MU2015, according to reports.
A bit of sad news and an accompanying good update for all of you.
There will be no Miss Universe 2014. No Christmas-themed pageant to look forward to either.
But as clued upon in an earlier blog I posted last month, the scattered puzzle pieces are starting to fit after this breaking news that the host city of Miss Universe 2015 (scheduled for January 18) will be DORAL, MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA as announced by its Mayor Luigi Boria!
With this revelation, expect flight bookings and hotel reservations to start flying off the wall within the next 24-72 hours. Discount airfares and special hotel rates will definitely dwindle fast before you can even begin googling for possible trip combos. With Fil-Americans alone, the excitement will be uncontained.
How about you, dear readers in the Philippines and other countries outside the U.S., do you fancy making that pageant rendezvous in the Sunshine State? Check out Trump National Doral Miami first. 😀
