Here’s a message from Miss Supranational USA 2018 Katrina Jayne Dimaranan (who is off to Poland as well):
And just like that I am off to Poland as Miss USA in this year’s Miss Supranational Pageant! 😍👑💕 The past few months, especially the last week has been super hectic and all over the place but I am enjoying it all nonetheless! I mean who gets to say they represented their entire country in an international pageant?! 🤩 I am a Filipina American and no one can tell me I’m less Filipina or less American and strip down my ethnicity because of my nationality 😊🇺🇸🇵🇭 Most importantly, I AM ME. 💛👑🤗 If you really knew me and my life, you’d know that growing up and knowing all I’ve been through, I never expected to be where I am now and for that I’m thankful and blessed. 💕 No need to get into sentimental details as I’m super emotional as of right now but all I can say is I’m already supra proud of how far I’ve come in life and this is just part of God’s plan! 🙏🏾 Everything happens for a reason so may as well enjoy it all! 😇 Thank you and salamat for all your support! See you soon Poland! 💋 #suprajourneytothecrown #suprawoman
You might remember her as the half-American teen who grew up in Davao City and was almost always encouraged to join one of our national beauty pageants a couple of years back.
Now, Nikita Pia McElroy – fresh from the cable show The People’s Queen – is now in the Aloha State where she will represent Pearl City in Miss Hawaii USA 2019.
If this tall and smoldering hot (and funny) Fil-Am Dabawenya will win her state nationals, she will then represent Hawaii in Miss USA 2019.
Vote for her in the competition’s official FB page to show your love and support!
So did you catch the Season Premiere of “The People’s Queen” on the TFC Channel (if you’re overseas) or either the Lifetime or MYX TV Channels (on Skycable)? It’s a very entertaining reality series following two (2) pageant experts (Cece Asuncion and Voltaire Tayag) – who also happen to be my friends – take in five beautiful ladies into one big house for a series of trainings and personality improvements (including a generous dash of confessions from each one of them).
I’m pretty sure you are familiar with most of the five recruits: newly-crowned Miss World Philippines 2018 Katarina Rodriguez, newly-appointed Miss Supranational USA 2018 Katrina Dimaranan, former Mutya ng Pilipinas Overseas Communities titleholder Michelle Thorlund, Blasian beauty Nikita McElroy and Jenny Levy.
Watch videos of the show’s teaser below, plus the TFC interview with Cece Asuncion and Katrina Dimaranan.
If you missed watching the first episode last October 24, it will run from the start once more this coming November on the Metro Channel.
