Pageant Scorecard 2021 for the Philippines: Better than Average

This year wasn’t the best for Philippine pageantry internationally, but not the worst either. It’s middling around the average range and pushing higher than 2019 and significantly compared to 2020. Keep in mind that I included only the competitions that I blogged about.

Here are some photos from the Double Victory Homecoming for Miss Intercontinental 2021 Cindy Obeñita and The MISS GLOBE 2021 Maureen Montagne. The two victors were visibly in cloud nine. They anticipated for this dedicated presscon ever since they returned to the country.

Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2019 Emma Tiglao hosted the event held at the Monet Ballroom 1&2 of Novotel Manila Araneta City.

The pressure is as real as it gets!

After the victory of Cindy Obeñita in Miss Intercontinental 2021 and Maureen Montagne in The MISS GLOBE Beauty Pageant 2021, weighty challenges await the two remaining Binibining Pilipinas 2021 titleholders Hannah Arnold and Samantha Alexandra Panlilio. I trust them to step up nicely in Japan and Thailand, respectively. Stars are aligning in favor of the Philippines!

Let us be humble so that we can continue embracing the positivity that these successes bring.

Declared as the Philippines National Flower by Gov. Gen. Frank Murphy through Proclamation No. 652 s. 1934, the sweet-smelling white flowers of sampaguita has long been celebrated in song, stories and legends. Originally from India, they are often made into garlands and its essence made into perfumes.

Sampaguita is considered a symbol of fidelity, purity, devotion, strength and dedication. – A perfect symbol of a modern Filipina

FUN FACT : The name Sampaguita is a Spanish term that comes from the Philippino words “sumpa kita,” which mean ‘I promise you.’

It won’t be long till the Finals of The MISS GLOBE Beauty Pageant 2021 culminate in the crowning of the successor of Lorinda Kolgeci.

This weekend, we shall know the fate of Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2021 Maureen Montagne. Signs are pointing to an anticipated victory. Let’s hope that everything will fall in the right place and make a big follow-up to the win of Cindy Obeñita as Miss Intercontinental 2021.
