And so it has come to pass. The Top 3 finishers of Miss South Africa 2020 have been given their respective international pageant assignments. Strategy or not, the organizers know enough that putting these three ladies in the most appropriate competition would do well for everyone:
Natasha Joubert for Miss Universe
Shudufhadzo Musida for Miss World
Thato Thelma Mohsele for Miss Supranational
Your thoughts about their placements, dear readers?
So just shortly before the finals telecast of Miss Universe Philippines 2020, one of her opponents in the next edition of Miss Universe has also been crowned.
Below is the full show.
24-year-old Shudufhadzo Musida from Limpopo was crowned Miss South Africa 2020 at the pageant finale held for the first time in Cape Town on Saturday.

For the first time in the history of the Miss South Africa pageant, the trio will represent the country at the world’s three most prestigious pageants. – Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss Supranational.
It has not been announced who will be representing South Africa at which international pageant.
Presenting to you now the Miss South Africa 2020 Top Ten Finalists who will compete for the big national crown on October 24.
I am truly awed by the quality of these ladies. But for now, I am pinning my hopes on Melissa Nayimuli, Natasha Joubert, Jordan van der Vyver and Aphelele Mbiyo.
When the organizers of Miss South Africa 2020 announced their 15 Semifinalists, I was literally blown away by the quality of the contenders. The ladies are like a cross between Miss Universe and America’s Next Top Model to the next level. I can pick my 5 favorites and still be left with another 5 strong contenders for the crown. Werner Wessels definitely has an eye – not just for beauty – but for aspirants who offer more than the looks and brains. I bet a lot of them offer more than dreams of winning the crown and achieving a rare back-to-back with Zozibini Tunzi, but also the mid-term and long-term plans to go beyond the glitz and glamour of becoming a Miss.
Their professions vary – from two Medical Doctors to a Food Scientist to an International Model to a Law Student to a PR Officer to an Actress to those who are in the Honours program of their respective University degrees and more.
Check them out:
Anazarde Omar
Aphelele Mbiyo
Busisiwe Mmotla
Chantelle Pretorius
Jordan van der Vyver
Karishma Ramdev
Lebogang Mahlangu
Matsepo Sithole
Melissa Nayimuli
Natasha Joubert
Olin-Shae De La Cruz
Palesa Keswa

From the fifteen (15) above, my Top 5 for now are:
