Just very recently, Miss Earth 2013 Alyz Henrich went to Harghuda, Egypt to take part in the United Nations-sponsored “Let’s Take Care of the Planet’s Youth Conference on Environment and Biodiversity” held in Elgouna from March 3-11. She was accompanied by Ms. Peachy Veneracion, one of the pillars of Carousel Productions which started the eco-focused beauty pageant.
Slowly but surely, Miss Earth is building a very positive image around the world. And with the busy activity slate Alyz is looking at between now and the third quarter of 2014, she is indeed on the right track to make her reign just as memorable (or possibly more than memorable) compared to either Tereza Fajksova and Olga Alava.
Keep up the good work! 🙂
One beauty stood tall, defeated all competition standing in her way and ended the night wearing the multi-crystaled crown of Miss Earth 2013.

Tonight will be the culmination of three weeks of stay in the Philippines for the ladies whose primary focus as beauty queens is to become role models for Mother Earth. One of them will be elected as the best possible spokesperson for environmental causes around the globe.
Who will she be?
Watch as the finals of Miss Earth 2013 unfold at the Versailles Palace. Telecast will be seen live on Star World at 8:00 PM. Live streaming will be available on: http://www.missearth.tv
Presenting eighty-eight (88) of the expected ninety (90) candidates of Miss Earth 2013. Still missing in action are the reps of Bonaire and Peru.
One of them will take over the title of Miss Earth 2012 Tereza Fajksova who has had a fruitful year so far.
Who are your favorites, dear readers?
There has never been a more meaningful year for the Philippines to host Miss Earth than 2013. With deadly natural calamities hitting our country one after another in the past 30 days alone, the significance of the environment-focused beauty pageant is at its most connected. It is indeed ironic that an earthquake and the strongest typhoon in the world have shaken the core of every Filipino when it is at the helm of a competition that espouses the preservation and protection of Mother Earth. But it can also be a powerful platform to show the world our resilience as a people.
The candidates have already arrived and more of them still flying in today and tomorrow. So far, the ones here have already made themselves useful for various charitable acts that should make their stay in the Philippines more heartfelt and fulfulling. See the photo grids below.

The delegates of Miss Earth 2013 are expected to start arriving in Manila by the middle of the month for a stay of over three weeks en route to crowning ME2012 Tereza Fajksova’s successor come December 7.
Miss Philippines Earth Angelee delos Reyes
And host delegate Angelee delos Reyes will be there to give all candidates a warm welcome. She may be firm in her resolve to win another crown for the Philippines this year (watch her eco video below). But before she starts going into earth warrior mode, she will act as the warm big sister to the foreign visitors first to get them settled in.

So dear readers, get ready for another pageant coming your way. Miss Earth 2013! 🙂
ME2012 Tereza Fajksova in South Sudan to judge and crown the winner of Beauties of South Sudan 2013.
Tereza crowning Gloria Karsis who will represent South Sudan in ME2013.
Carousel Productions can’t ask for a more cooperative and more endearing Miss Earth 2012 than Tereza Fajksova. Of late, the uber beautiful Czech titleholder has been busy travelling around different countries (such as Mauritius, Joenssu in Finland, Indonesia, Cote d’Ivoire and Reunion Island) to grace the crowning of their next Miss Earth representatives while espousing the environmental objectives of the pageant at the same time.
Recently, she landed in the African continent – South Sudan in particular- to attend the finals of Beauties of South Sudan 2013 as judge and guest of honor. She also bestowed the title to Gloria Karsis who will represent the country in Miss Earth 2013.
Keep up the high spirits, Tereza! See you in Manila (or wherever the finals of the next edition will take place)! 🙂

While it is the ultimate objective of any beauty queen to capture the international crown in her pageant assignment, there is something about the aura and disposition of Miss Philippines Earth 2013 Angelee Claudett delos Reyes that gives pageant followers the gut-feel that she has the extra kick to rise one notch higher than her predecessor (Stephany Stefanowitz) who placed 2nd to Tereza Fajksova last year. And the girl has been very vocal about her strong desire to do a Karla Henry and achieve a Philippine win in Miss Earth for the second time.
I have no doubts about it – i.e., the 110% commitment to exceed her personal standards and give additional honor to her countrymen in the global stage. And while there remains the constant likelihood of the Philippines hosting yet another edition (unless negotiations with Thailand pull through), the sweet, tactful and diplomatic Angelee is out to prove that she is worth the environmental crown on her own passion and merits. 😉
Miss Earth 2012 Tereza Fajksova in picturesque Prague for Christmas.
Veselé Vánoce a šťastný nový rok! That’s “Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!” in the Czech language. And what better way for the reigning Miss Earth Tereza Fajksova than to celebrate the Holidays back home and right in the middle of one of the world’s most beautiful cities – Prague.
The lovely and down-to-Earth (pun intended) Tereza has been getting nothing but praises from the Carousel people because of her game disposition and no-attitude aura. I’m sure she will have a pretty busy 2013 ahead as the reigning queen. Best of luck to her!

From Norman’s Blog, have the Merriest Christmas and a most sumptuous New Year!!! 😀
Miss Czech Republic Tereza Chlebovská
When Tereza Fajksova won Miss Earth last month, it clearly created added pressure on Czech Republic’s Miss Universe bet, Tereza Chlebovská, to match the output. Of course, there is a strong possibility of her making the grade, apart from the likelihood of being selected as one of (The Donald’s) Trump cards. But will she zoom higher than that? Not a remote possibility because she is being tipped as one of the early favorites among the 88 contenders. 🙂
