BPCI Chair Madame Stella Marquez de Araneta joined the Binibinis when they dropped by for the last stop of their Store Tour at Taco Bell in Cyber Park Tower.
The ladies were thrilled to have even a short and casual bonding time with Madame SMA, as well as enjoy the company of the invited members of the Press who took photos of them around the place. They even tried their hands at playing billiards before calling it a day.
Here are photos I took at Taco Bell:
Tomorrow afternoon, the Store Tour of the Bb. Pilipinas 2018 Official Candidates will happen in select establishments at Araneta Center starting at 2pm. Their first stop will be Pizza Hut and Dairy Queen at Ali Mall before heading straight to the Taco Bell at the Cyber Park beside Novotel.
This will be another chance to meet the ladies and – hopefully – get quick photo ops with them.
See you there!

The Bb. Pilipinas 2017 Queens during the Bloggers Event of DQ
The Queens with my partner Joy Arguil
Yesterday afternoon after the Miss Scuba Philippines Media Launch, normannorman.com immediately went straight to the Bloggers Event for Dairy Queen Philippines held at the 2nd Floor of Taco Bell in Cyberpark Tower One. It was the activity that introduced the newest item in the brand’s menu – the #PeperoBlizzard – with its two yummy variants (Pepero Almond Chocolate and Pepero White Cookie Mango
Five of our six Bb. Pilipinas 2017 Queens – Rachel Peters, Mariel de Leon, Chanel Olive Thomas, Elizabeth Clenci and Nelda Ibe – graced the occasion and delighted everyone who attended the affair.
While it was all fun all around, the Queens also sounded us off on their next charity visit on July 20. This time, it will be for the wounded soldiers from the Marawi City Crisis. That is one emotional encounter I certainly will not miss.
In the meantime, here are more photos of the ladies as taken by Joseph Gerard V. Jose for normannorman.com.
The Bb. Pilipinas 2016 Official Candidates spent one day enjoying and resisting all the calorie-filled offerings of Pizza Hut, Dairy Queen and Taco Bell
It was food-tripping day for the Binibinis when they went through three (3) sponsor visits at Pizza Hut, Dairy Queen and Taco Bell – food chains all operated in the country by the Araneta Group of Companies.
Resistance is a must for all forty (40) of them because eating in all three food outlets can spell the big difference between maintaining a slim waistline and pigging out on all the pizzas, blizzards and burritos they can lay their pretty hands on. But a slice or a bite or half-an-inverted ice cream treat won’t hurt, right?
Anyways, Binibinis Maria Lina Prongoso and Jessica Gonzales also had their twin birthday celebrations and were warmly greeted by everyone.

Binibini 8 Karen Ibasco for Dairy Queen
Cebuana Binibinis Maria Gigante (36) and Apriel Smith (22) for Pizza Hut
Binibini 21 Jessica Gonzales and Binibini 19 Maria Lina Prongoso had a twin birthday celebration over the ice cream cake of Dairy Queen
Pizza Hut is almost synonymous to Bb. Pilipinas.

Mexican food platters, anyone?

In the Philippines, international pizza (Pizza Hut), ice cream (Dairy Queen) and Mexican fast-food (Taco Bell) chains are almost always associated with Bb. Pilipinas. And why not? The Aranetas own their franchises in the country and what better way to promote the same than to have the beautiful ladies competing in the nationals every year visiting one or two outlets of each.
I do love all four. Pizzas, ice cream, tacos and beautiful ladies. And for as long as the candidates are not required to stuff themselves with the calorie-rich dough, blizzards and nachos then everything’s good. 😉
