Looking for a potential Janicel Lubina type who could possibly join Bb. Pilipinas 2016? Then search no further than this beautiful and shapely Pinay
who could be crossing over from two highly different competitions. Hazel Ortiz was crowned Slimmers World Miss Bikini Philippines 2014 before being selected as the representative of the country in the Female Model category of WCOPA (World Championship of the Performing Arts 2015
) held in Long Beach, California and where she snatched the overall Silver in her segment while taking the Gold in National Costume.
This is one young lady you should see in person to appreciate her total impact and potential to become a serious joiner for Bb. Pilipinas 2016. She has the looks, the body and the total aura to convince any pageant follower of her strong chances to shine in a head-on collision with other equally stunning screeners who will sign up for the nationals.
I’d really love more than anything else to see the opening of the 2016 pageant season with a clash of all the best options we can consider for Team Philippines. And Hazel Ortiz could be a nice addition to the same. 🙂

Slimmers World Miss Bikini Philippines 2014 Hazel Ortiz can always apply for one of our national pageants after serving her reign that ended last week. While her actual height might be suspect for Bb. Pilipinas (which imposes a strict 5’6″ minimum
), she can give next year’s Miss Philippines Earth a try or even Mutya ng Pilipinas 2015 which will start its screenings soon.
So will Hazel join a major national pageant next? (Photo credit: Joselito Caleon)
The more important concern, though, is if she is interested in making the pageant re-immersion which could be too soon. But if she’s up to it, then I’d say go for the screenings of Mutya ng Pilipinas 2015 and Miss Global Philippines 2015 if 2016 seems so far away. 🙂

Hazel Joy Ortiz conquered the competition and won the title of Slimmers World Miss Bikini Philippines 2014 last night at the Newport Performing Arts Theatre of Resorts World Manila. She was able to edge out the other ladies who were considered favorites, just like 1st Runner-up Jessica Arqueza and 2nd Runner-up Roshiel Asingua.
Hazel will be scheduled to represent us in Miss Bikini International, while Jessica could be our entry in the Miss Tourism Queen Asia in China.
Congratulations to all the winners! 🙂
P.S. Now that Janicel Lubina is free from her commitments here, she can plan her next pageant stop.
