For more information, you may contact the Miss Tourism World Philippines office at 5125639 or Mr. Marki Delos Santos at 09152970297, Mr. Mhere Ignacio 09124232917 and Mr. Francis Calubaquib at 09213961554.
Well known Philippine representatives in previous Miss Tourism World Pageant includes Bb. Pilipinas 1989 Runner up, Suzanne Park Fahling who won the international title in 1995, former Bb. Pilipinas World Rachel Soriano (2nd Runner Up in 2000), former Bb. Pilipinas Universe now lawyer Zora Andam (finalist and Miss Tourism-Asia in 2001) and Michelle Reyes who won the title in 2002.
Years back when BPCI still held the franchise for Miss Tourism World, Michelle Reyes was the last best-performing representative when she won the international title in 2002. It was a surprise win for the registered nurse who only placed 1st Runner-Up in Bb. Pilipinas 2001. Since then, nothing much has been heard about the Philippine participation in the said pageant, that is, until now.
If everything goes as planned, then the finals venue in Bangkok should provide a grand setting since Siam Niramit has been attracting tourists from all over the world for quite some time now.
Hopefully, the local search can attract a good set of candidates to choose (or appoint) a winner from. 😉
