Your blogger is keeping his fingers crossed that this group of 40 will remain intact.
Disqualifications in Bb. Pilipinas 2014 tend to move in mysterious ways because of the veil of secrecy covering new developments. First to go was the pair of Diane Querrer and Sherlien Dass. The two ladies were allegedly booted out after failing to reach the true minimum height requirement of 5’5″ during a surprise re-measuring.
Hopefully, nobody will get DQd anymore and end up missing events like this altogether.
Now what is this pungent smell of tension pervading the hallways of BPCI once more? If the radar of my reliable source is picking up the right signals, there could be an additional one or two in the roster in danger of heading towards the exit. I sure hope something can be done to settle the concerns once and for all.
To protect the identities of the ones in possible hot water, your blogger’s lips are sealed tight so as not to pre-empt any pending good resolution.
Bring on the replies of disillusion. Someone out there might be reading and (hopefully) bring a happy ending to all of this.
Still 40 Official Candidates, but the pending entry of Carla and Aiza is a welcome development indeed.
The pre-pageant activities of Bb. Pilipinas 2014 have not started yet and already, a mild shake-up has affected the line-up of Official Candidates.
Diane Querrer and Sherlien Dass, OUT?
Carla Lizardo and Aiza Faeldonia, IN?
When the post about “Wishful thinking: Make room for more Binibinis” went live last night, I already had early information of the above. But because there was still no clear confirmation from BPCI, I decided to sound it off indirectly.
I am just too happy that both Carla and Aiza have already been called back to possibly become certified OCs. They should have been part of the Top 40 in the first place.
Jem, Sherlien and Anabel are three of the 61 remaining Bb. Pilipinas 2014 contenders who have not seen the light of day in this blog.
Anabel Christine G. Tia is the painter and art teacher from Ozamiz City. Outside of pageantry, she specializes in creating works of art using oil, watercolor, chalk pastel and charcoal. She stands 5’7″ish.
Jem Francelle Sanico is from Catarman, Northern Samar which she represented during Miss Philippines Earth 2012. She is 23 years old and a student of Political Science at the University of Eastern Philippines. She is 5’8″.
Manila-bred Sherlien Dass gets on-and-off work with ABS-CBN. She studied at the University of Santo Tomas. She is 5’7″.
Who will be luckiest among the three ladies?
Will one or all three ladies cruise to the final screening and become Official Candidates of Bb. Pilipinas 2014 tomorrow? 😉
