During the Miss Philippines Earth 2019 Welcome Party held at the Carousel Mansion in Mandaluyong City, 38 of the 42 expected Official Candidates were introduced to all invited guests and sponsors – including members of the media – as they formally started their pre-pageant journey to this year’s crown.

The ladies – divided into regions of Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao and NCR (including reps of the Filipino Overseas Communities) – were asked to perform individual presentations that reflect the uniqueness of their respective origins in the country. They were judged accordingly, with the Mindanao contingent getting the solo recognition of being chosen as the best performers with a Gold Medal awarded on the spot.

From this day till the finals in July (details of date and venue to be finalized soon), they will be busy in various pre-pageant activities focused on environmental awareness and seminars, school and sponsor visits, a trip to El Nido in Palawan, medal-earning challenges and the unique preliminary judgings (beauty of face, beauty of form/figure and intelligence).
