Sanya, China is where the real competition begins. This is where all the fast-track events will be conducted, as well as the preliminary screening of all 115 official delegates for the 60th Miss World crown. The images below were taken from the street parade – the ladies’ first official function in this resort city, en route to the grand finals on October 30, 2010…

Good luck to all the girls! The next two weeks will be crucial for everyone when the semi-finalists plus fast-track winners will be chosen.
Yendi Phillips was Jamaica’s representative in the 2007 Miss World competition where she placed prominently all throughout the fast-track events and went on to grab a Top 16 slot during the finals held in Sanya, China. The 24-year old dance major, who is of black and partial Indo-Jamaican descent, is back with the Miss Universe-Jamaica 2010 crown tucked in her belt.
Yendi flashes a beautiful smile. She is more than ready to make her mark in Las Vegas during Miss Universe 2010.
Trust Yendi to pull out all stops as she vies for the Miss Universe 2010 crown. I do.
Yendi has exotica spelled all over her shapely body. To say that she has smoldering presence would be an understatement.
