This year wasn’t the best for Philippine pageantry internationally, but not the worst either. It’s middling around the average range and pushing higher than 2019 and significantly compared to 2020. Keep in mind that I included only the competitions that I blogged about.

Samela Aubrey Godin of the Philippines wins Miss Culture International 2021

While most everyone stayed glued to the Finals of Miss Grand International, a Filipina was crowned winner in another part of the world.

Congratulations are in order for the newly-crowned Miss Culture International 2021 Samela Aubrey Godin of the Philippines! She is the first-ever recipient of this title.

Her two runners-up are from Zimbabwe and Lesotho.

The pageant was hosted in Johannesburg, South Africa.

For those unfamiliar with Samela, she was recently an official candidate of Miss World Philippines 2021.

Here are photos from the official crowning and sashing of Samela Aubrey Godin as Miss Culture International – Philippines held at Karma Lounge in Quezon City.

The former Miss World Philippines 2021 candidate will now represent the country in the inaugural edition of Miss Culture International to be held in Johannesburg, South Africa on December 4. She is all set to depart by November 26.

Doing the ceremonial crowning for Samela is the National Director of Miss Culture Philippines Jillian Paul de Guzman in the presence of KF for Crown. for Country.’s Rodin Gilbert B.flores and Designer Jomar Peralta of House of Victoria by Jomar Peralta and Events Emporium.

One of them will be fast-tracked to the Top 20 on Finals Night this July 25.

Tomorrow, we shall know the finalists for the HEAD-TO-HEAD CHALLENGE. And on Wednesday, the BEACH BEAUTY CHALLENGE will be in full swing at the Cove Manila Beach Club in Okada Manila.

Thursday will be the Charity Gala where the Ten Talent Finalists will perform live and be judged.

All the fast-track winners will be announced on Finals Night July 25.
