Sharing with you the ‘stripped’ music video of Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray singing the song with guitar accompaniment by boyfriend Sam Milby.
It was a night of festive fun, cheers, and all-around singing and dancing during the 10XGiving Anniversary Concert of UniSilver Time at the Aliw Theater. With a close to perfect attendance of the watch company’s celebrity endorsers and timebassadors, the audience (which included adoring fans, company officials & employees, media reps and VIP guests flown in from China) got more than two hours of non-stop performances which kept everyone’s smiles on their faces.
Talents from all three TV networks were represented, with Karylle, Sam Milby, Ejay Falcon and Julie Anne San Jose leading the charge. Popular teen idols Barbie Forteza, Enzo Pineda, Bea Binene, Derrick Monasterio, Eula Caballero, Martin Escudero, Valeen Montenegro, Vin Abrenica, Sophie Albert, Joshua Dionisio and Ken Chan were also on hand to entertain. Boyband Upgrade, sexy all-female group Sassy Girls and the guys from Juan Direction added excitement to the proceedings. And pageantry-wise, two Mister International winners – Neil Perez and Jose Anmer Paredes – also gave a pleasantly surprising dance number alongside Mr. Global Philippines Joseph Doruelo and runner-up Nicko Cruz.10th Year commemorative watches and iPhone 6 units were also raffled off to the delight of the picked winners. Over-all, the concert was a big success.
Many thanks to the important people of UniSilver Time who made it happen, including the Chairman of UniSilver Group of Company International Mr. Kim Pa Go plus UniSilver Time’s President Albert Que, VP William Ong Co, Managing Director King Go and Sales/PR Manager Rosiebeth Padua. From its humble beginnings in December 2005 to the highly-known and established company it is today, here’s to ten more years of success and innovations in the country’s watch industry. 😀
This coming Friday, May 15, all roads will lead to the Aliw Theatre at the CCP Complex for the “10XGiving Anniversary Concert” of UniSilver Time. This is the big event by which the popular watch company will give back to the public and thank them for ten years of success in the industry. Performers during the same will be UniSilver endorsers led by Karylle, Sam Milby, Ejay Falcon, Julie Anne San Jose and Sponge Cola, plus a long list of teen stars from ABS-CBN, GMA-7 and TV5. Included as well are the winners of Misters of the Philippines 2014 like Mister International 2014/2015 Neil Perez and Mr. Global Philippines 2014 Joseph Doruelo with the special participation of Mister International 2013 Jose Anmer Paredes (photo below).
Check out some of the photos taken by Joy Arguil during the Press Lunch held at Victorino’s in QC earlier in the day.
I will be watching on Friday. See you there! 😀
As my first blog feature for the month of February, I had to give some space for my favorite Anne Curtis who – as a non-singer – was able to hold a very successful concert last Saturday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Titled “Annebisyosa – No Other Concert”, the big dome was literally filled to the rafters with the presence of thousands of fans, supporters, and celebrity friends.
Mounting a concert this big was such a huge task, let alone the fact that the star of the whole thing is a lady who is more known for her acting chops than a creditable singing ability. In fact, Anne’s only official claim to singing was a bestselling music cd released last year. But trust the personality-driven Pinoys to give their all-out adulation. Never mind the intermittent slip-ups with the choreography or the lyrics, everybody stayed through the 3-hour concert to have fun and some good laughs.
You could say that Anne deserves an ‘A’ for effort. But it doesn’t stop there. She religiously attended all the rehearsals with the band and the dancers, while heavily promoting the concert on Twitter, Facebook and TV. And boy, did she wow everyone that night. She may not have the voice of guest Sarah Geronimo, but she squeezed everything that she could to come up with numbers that dazzled and inspired the audience.
Her spots with little sister Jasmine, comedians Vice Ganda and Vhong Navarro, host/actor Luis Manzano, rock musicians Rico Blanco & Ira Cruz, “No Other Woman” co-stars Cristine Reyes & Derek Ramsay and ex-boyfriend Sam Milby were all well-applauded. But nothing beats her number on top of a slowly-descending bed from mid-air while singing the difficult and demanding “Alone”.
Anne clearly emphasized that this will be her “first and last” major concert. But looking at how tremendously successful (and profitable) the whole thing was, I doubt it if a repeat (or a fresh new concept) will be ignored by her management team (Viva). Give them ten months or one year at most and I’m sure a part two will follow. A duplicate might even be staged for the Pinoys in the US as well.
I’m not too keen about Anne shifting from acting to singing, but if she can provide solid entertainment in whatever shape, form or trick, then a follow-up production for 2013 is very very possible. After all, why tag her “concert sweetheart” when the girl is clearly not even categorized as a one-hit wonder? 😉
Many thanks to Bruce Casanova of OPMB Worldwide for the images above! 😉
Tonight is the night for Cosmo Bachelor Bash 2010 at the World Trade Center. Gorgeous hunks. Rock-hard six-pack abs. Half-naked celebrities. What more could a girl (or swooning gay man) wish for? Yes, the annual event is intended for a strictly female audience but who’s to stop the rest when it’s the latter who can make sensational coverages (in print or online) of the same. But the question is, have you already scored tickets for the much-awaited fashion party of the year? Don’t ask me back because I’m still waiting for mine to arrive at the last minute! LOL! 😉
Aside from the image above of hot cover girl Andi Eigenmann with the Cosmomen supplement showing a shirtless Sam Milby with a live tiger from the photoshoot held at Zoobic Safari, here’s a preview of the other celebrities who will grace the catwalk at their sexiest…
There’s going to be a lot more from where these guys will be stepping out from. So if you want to catch them in the flesh (pun intended), head over to World Trade Center tonight for Cosmo Bacleor Bash 2010. Just make sure you have tickets in hand! 😉
